What’s gonna happen is the SEC and BIG 10 are gonna get sued if they try and enforce this. I want to say this would fall under anti trust laws with two conferences colluding together to ban players that judges have already ruled eligible to play.

Separately, the SEC and Big 10 do not have monopoly power. But if they are found to have colluded, rather than independently adopting and enforcing a rule or similar rules, they would be subject to anti-trust liability.

I hope the SEC gets slammed trying to stop this. Same goes for the BIG 10 if they do as well.

Do I necessarily want guys who went to the league going back to college? Nope, I just want to see where this all leads in hopes that it leads to some common sense practices around NIL and eligibility. At this stage Arron Donald could have gone back to Penn and finished his final year of eligibility. Instead of playing in the NFL.

I hope Kiffin pushes the envelope of what can be done and what can’t be done with NIL and former college players. It’s become the Wild West the past few years and Kiffin seems like the perfect guy to press any and all buttons.

Lance is the natural outcome of what college football and society has allowed to fester. He is just honest about it.

Either way it seems as though LSU is pushing forward with the guys from the NFL despite what the SEC says. As long as the issue is tied up in courts he’s going forward as if it will be okay to do.
