In a statement, Tech Board Chair Cody Campbell said that Tech will not "seek the return" of any money paid to Brendan Sorsby through his NIL agreements with the University.


That's somewhat surprising. A clean break for both sides.

Why did Brendan Sorsby not simply lie and say it was his translator placing a lot of bets?

If the NFL suspends Brendan Sorsby after the supplemental draft, the NFLPA will be able to fight the move on his behalf. If he's denied entry into the supplemental draft, he'll be on his own in pushing back against the decision.

Sorsby got mostly round 3 feedback from teams and was on the fence. TT made it an easier decision for him with the $5m NIL offer.

That sounds closer to where he was for me if he came out this year. Lots of talent but struggled with consistency and had some real stinkers for games at times. At times he looked like a 1st round pick, other times like he should be undrafted. The talent is worth taking a shot on, similar to LaNorris Sellers to me.

The NCAA has voted to eliminate the FCS to FBS transition penalty, allowing North Dakota State and Sacramento State to be eligible to play in a bowl game immediately.

Major win for College Football. 🙌

BREAKING: The NCAA is officially adopting the age-based eligibility structure, giving players 5 years to play 5 seasons from either when they enroll or from the season they turn 19 (whichever comes first).

The Division I cabinet was unanimous in their vote for the new model.
