2025 RB thread

What if you modify out the seasons where the player sucks?
If you subtract the square root of the hypotenuse, you get a first ballot Hall of Famer.

Yeah. Let's do that.

You told me a couple months ago he had short arms and fumbling issues lmfao.

I had to move him down my draft board.
Had to choose between that and Cambell’s 32” arms and Membou being bullied with bull rushes.

In terms of position dummy. He might be THE best player in the draft. I would take Ward because he's the best QB and Hunter because he's a unicorn...but Jeanty is the best RB prospect since AP. Who fucking pissed in your Cheerios that you're a douche lately?
Today only ???? He’s been this way for 10 years. Understandable but still

Top 20 highest paid RBs/OGs by guaranteed money. Anything stand out?

That the Falcons, Panthers, Colts and Bears didn't make the playoffs?

Thats a unique way to get to where we are!

We all have our styles brother lmfao.

Fuck those guys. Last time we listened to one of them, two of our 1st round picks ended up incarcerated.

Just saying that so many people have praised a team for drafting a particular player...only to have them bust. Every redraft has a guy like Gallery falling out of the 1st round and a guy like Maxx being a 1st rounder. Draft good players.

So...having great positional players still means you need to continue to build your team? Yep.

Now who’s being daft lol.

That’s not theoretical BR.Net draft nerd value, that’s literally how the league values the positions.

The point is that you can have two supposedly high value players, like the Panthers, and still stuck. The contract values for positions can get inflated out of desperation in Free Agency. Look at the top 10 contracts for QB's and tell me how many of them you would actually want? Same as the list with the Guards. There are quite a few massively overpaid players on that list.

If there is no difference in the importance of the position, why aren’t RBs equally as overpaid?

Everything ebbs and flows. The. RB's were overpaid for a bit. Now WR's and Guards are being massively overpaid. Teams get desperate and it's a copycat league.

When did guards become a premium position anyway? Obviously they're important, but are they suddenly hard to find? :wtf1:

Nah not hard to find at all. Kinda like a good RB.

They just get paid more because line play is so critical.

Probably a collateral effect of OTs being so hard to find. Good ones rarely hit the market so teams started spending money on the next best thing. If something becomes too unattainable, people move on to something else.
