2025 Offseason Roster

Wonder Spygate would be willing to hold off on signing Miller in order to create some buzz around us drafting an OT just so a team may be willing to jump up and either trade with us, or ahead of us in order to get their guy. Forcing a player down to our spot or gain extra picks.

They say Spygate is a smart guy but, is he willing to create a false narrative along with a player in order to get the end result he wants? Will be interesting if days after the draft Miller gets his deal done.

If Membou is close to the prospect Fuaga was last year I kinda feel that is the direction we have to go.
Zeirline has Membou a smidge above Fuaga.

Steeler Depot likes Fuaga more as it is critical of Membou’s demonstrated shortcomings

I want another OL.

Upgrading from Glaze, who played well as a rookie, and having Glaze as a swing OT and compete at LG is the best way to improve the OL. Plan B would be to draft a plug and play LG.

Question is, is Jeanty + Plan B > Membou + a Day 2 RB?

Membou is strictly a RT no? Nothing with these top OT's scream immediate starter/pro bowler to me. Otherwise I would be all over an OT at #6.

You know what you're getting with Jeanty. Most likely an OROTY candidate and pro bowl RB.

It works if there is already a verbal agreement in place.

Dead last in rushing last year and Kolton was for sure part of that. At his best he is a decent pass blocker but has been on the decline for years now.
Probably looking for his last big contract with declining play. Not sure signing him up for a three-year deal or whatever it is the way to go.

He had a bad half a season...let's not confuse that with 'being on the decline'. His shoulder injury robbed him of an off-season and it took about 6-7 games to knock off the rust and get into playing shape/strength. He is still a top-10 LT and had at least another 3-4 years as a high level player in this league.

Wanted to draft Fuaga last year but of course we are happy with Brock. Membou has only played on the right but should be able to also play on the left.

I’ve seen a comparison for Membou to Troy Fautanu too, he was a little shorter guard/RT and went 20th. I think he’s doing good for the Steelers.

Sounds like we are one of the teams in on Ramsey.

We have plenty of cap space and he just signed an extension for 3 years. I don't think the last two years are guaranteed unless I have him mixed up with someone else. He's not the player he once was but still better than anyone in our cb room.
