2025 Offseason Roster

Not sure I see the point of trading him. He's not a viable long term starter (and arguably, neither is Geno at his age), but as a back up, I think he's fine. Why trade him when he's cheap and has shown he can step in and play ok if the starter goes down. I get that the new regime wants new guys, but you let Moehrig, Spillane and Hobbs walk, and now have to replace all three. At some point, you have to stop creating holes in the roster.
I think it just depends on if we end up drafting a guy or not.

Raiders analyst Eric Allen takes a closer look at defensive end Malcolm Koonce on this edition of Raiders Breakdown.

Back up QBs for a team like us should be strictly developmental. If they don’t see Aidan as a fit, get something for him and get someone else that is. IMO.

How much is Miller worth?

Per OTC, the Donks gave Garett Bolles (when he was 31) “a four year, $82 million extension on December 11, 2024. Bolles' extension includes $41.97 million in guarantees, with $38.5 million representing the new money guarantee.”

Miller is younger than Boles. And, when healthy, better.

Mo, Spillane and Hobbs won't be missed.
The defense is going to be more physical, and they don't fit.

It's not the defensive side of the ball that worries me with these guys.

With all the holes on this roster creating a new one at LT would be pretty stupid.
Dead last in rushing last year and Kolton was for sure part of that. At his best he is a decent pass blocker but has been on the decline for years now.
Probably looking for his last big contract with declining play. Not sure signing him up for a three-year deal or whatever it is the way to go.

Mathew Butler a mild surprise. I have seen and understand the others. That Butler?
Probably not a lot of thought put into retaining camp bodies. Or maybe they think they can tap into his potential in spite of him.

Had a down year for sure with the injury and agree with the assessment that he's an average starter at LT. Even average starters are hard to find for that position though. I didn't say give him 3 years but trading him or letting him walk with no clear replacement would be dumb. I'd give him 2 with the third funny money we can get out of.

His situation is going to be interesting to see how it plays out. They might just be playing hardball with him and can come to a reasonable agreement.
Both sides unhappy.

He's never been a great run blocker, but I don't think you think of your running game first when assessing the left tackle on a team. He's solid in pass blocking, and that's all we need him for until we can draft or develop his replacement. Also, let's not forget the Getsy factor with how the run offense especially performed. They couldn't get a yard under him.

Getsy was truly terrible, he had White running them outside zone plays.

It took Turner a couple of weeks to get some ground game going but he did.

Dumbest team ever and we have seen it over and over.

Yeah I kind of give the OL a reset on my evaluation due to that moron coming in and fucking everything up. Not that it was great before but he definitely made it worse.

I want another OL.

Upgrading from Glaze, who played well as a rookie, and having Glaze as a swing OT and compete at LG is the best way to improve the OL. Plan B would be to draft a plug and play LG.

Question is, is Jeanty + Plan B > Membou + a Day 2 RB?

I want more O-line as well. I thought Glaze played well last year. He was rock solid. I'd be fine with Membou and Campbell with that first pick. No problem with that at all.

If Membou is close to the prospect Fuaga was last year I kinda feel that is the direction we have to go.
