2025 Offseason Roster

We started with Stafford who has no ties to Pete. I think Brady is the #1 voice on who our QB will be long term.
I don't think Stafford was ever leaving LA and him being linked to us & the Giants was purely leverage on his part. If Brady is the 1 voice then this franchise is no farther ahead now than it was with Al and won't be successful with the owner forcing players onto the hc and gm. I think Brady and co are smart enough to realize that's not a successful way to run a franchise

I didn't either. Just saying that is who we went after first. As far as Brady's leadership style, I posted about this earlier. he'll get everyone to arrive at the same decision. Like honestly, if he says something about what QB to pick, who really is going to contradict him, even Pete? I mean it is what it is.

Yes, Bo Nix had a stellar rookie year with the Denver Broncos. He led the team to its first playoff berth in nearly a decade, and he set several rookie and franchise records. Nix also earned multiple Rookie of the Week honors and was named an AP Offensive Rookie of the Year finalist.

Here's a more detailed look at his performance:
  • Led the Broncos to the playoffs: Nix guided the Broncos to their first 10-win season since 2015 and a playoff appearance.

  • Rookie records: He broke multiple NFL rookie records, including the most games with 200 passing yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions.

  • Impressive stats: Nix completed 66.3% of his passes for 3,775 yards and 29 touchdowns, leading all rookies in those categories.

  • Rushed for yards: He also contributed as a rusher, gaining over 400 yards on the ground.

  • Played with injury: Nix reportedly played through a broken back for a portion of the season.

  • High expectations: While some experts questioned his rookie potential, Nix not only exceeded those expectations but also led the team to a higher win total than many anticipated.

You and this AI shit, lol.

I get where you're coming from and if it was another hc, especially an inexperienced one, I could buy it. I just don't see Pete a hc with plenty of experience, a culture builder and championship winning hc, willingly taking a backseat to him and more or less saying "yes Mr. Brady" as you're kind of implying. If you want to say Spytek can be talked into something then I'll buy that as we've yet to see if he's a yes man or not

29 on 567 attempts, it's less impressive. And he did have a top 3 D, so I wouldn't put the playoffs all on him. Solid rookie season for sure. Still wouldn't call it stellar. Semantics? Probably.
He was a game manager of a damn good defensive team. He absolutely wasn’t stellar as a rookie. I want to say he had a lot of short fields this year.

I say Brady should get a shot to select a QB. If he fails maybe Spytek could give it a go. We should keep swinging and if one guy strikes out next batter up. Mark is the water boy in this scenario and does not get an at bat.

Boy you guys have lofty rookie expectations. Most guys suck. Even Manning sucked his first year. He was better than every other rookie not named Daniels. Maye, Caleb, Penix all sucked.
Nobody other than @Jayl would want to pump up Bo Nix more than me. I had him ahead of Daniels on my draft board and I love nothing more than saying “I was right”… with that being said he was damn good but, “stellar” is reserved for what Daniels did last year. Not even looking at the playoff aspect of it.

What Daniels did deserves a superlative better than stellar. You guys are being silly with the semantics here.

How much better can you get than stellar? We're getting into 13/10 levels here.

In any case I've lost interest in debating how good exactly Nix was when there is agreement that he at an absolute bare minimum wasn't bad.
