If he doesn’t play he doesn’t get paid. It would make sense for him to play hard for a new contract with another team. It’s probably going to be his last one so he needs to make it count.

I wonder if they are still trying to work something out. While he's outplayed his contract, he's not exactly playing for chump change this year.

I just don’t see it. If he was our number one target I could see it. That distinction obviously goes to Bowers.

IDK, He had really good chemistry with Geno in pre-season. Brock is going to get a lot of attention this season.

IDK, He had really good chemistry with Geno in pre-season. Brock is going to get a lot of attention this season.

It would appear that we’re following in the footsteps of the Pats and Chiefs. The leading receiver is an all world tight end and the WRs are a bunch of dudes. When was the last time the Pats had a notable receiver while Gronk was there? I know that the Chiefs had Hill, but they were just as successful without him.

Only need two to play 12. Only need to carry three when we can elevate a fourth from the PS as needed. No one's going to put in a waiver claim for the TEs we waived. Easy roster decision.

Justin Shorter is a likely loss. Guy has size and speed and has some good tape from last year running free while O'Connell forced everything to Bowers of Meyers.

That's exactly why he shouldn't play. If he gets injured then he might lose out on his last contract.

The Chefs payed -- and are still paying -- for no reliable deep threat. Lotta guys close to scrimmage. Run game suffered. Kermit is earning his money.
