2025 Mock Draft thread...

I could live with that. Not sure I see Spytek not taking a trench player until his 6th pick though.

That’s a whole bunch of DBs early.

Ya we need it though… a few guys I had hoped to get didn’t land where I thought.

True we do need it.

I dont know if we can triple dip it early though haha.

We could go so many directions and it would all make sense. Lots of holes.

Depending on how you view Lewis I got 4 DB’s.

Two Alabama DL should piss off @Crow enough that it’s well worth it.

If we were serious about doing something consistent with the 3-4 front LT Overton and Tim Keenan would not be a bad starting point especially for the draft capital we may get away with for them.

I think Keenan had the 2nd best run grade last year. Just a tad behind McShakenbelly Not bad for a 4th or 5th round pick. Same goes for Over-A-ton

Keenan brings a bunch of what the early NT prospect do. I'm puzzled why he is mocked late on day 3.

Love to have him. He can compete with @Birdwell 's hybrid TE/FB/DT Pegues and Tonka for a spot. One of them can surely get 5 TD's as a hybrid offensive/defensive player.

10 sacks allowed
5 penalties

In 17 games, penalties aren’t bad, but sacks allowed is not up to snuff. But he was a rookie, and OT is a hard position to play as rookie.

If they upgrade from him, I’m all for it.

We all watched the games all year right? I mean this cannot be bizzarro world stuff again this year right?

DJ Glaze is an offensive tackle for the Las Vegas Raiders who earned a 60.6 overall PFF grade in the 2025 season, 65th among 89 qualified offensive tackles. He played 992 offensive snaps on the season.
His PFF pass-blocking grade of 63.3 ranked 60th among 89 qualified offensive tackles. His run-blocking grade of 54.9 ranked 73rd at the position.
He allowed 48 total pressures in pass protection. That total included 10 sacks and 6 hits allowed to opposing pass rushers. He was flagged for 5 penalties over the course of the season.

64 tackles play each week and he ranked 65th lmfao.

Why would we do that to Fernando? Thats just cruel.

Glaze. Plus, I think Geno hung onto the football longer than normal and some of those sacks were more on him that Glaze. But if they upgrade the RT position, I’m up for it. I’m not married to the guy, but I think he is better than some think.

“How long did Geno Smith hang onto the football on the sacks Glazers gave up?”

Short answer: it wasn’t quick-loss pressure most of the time.
On the sacks charged to DJ Glaze, Geno Smith generally held the ball longer than average.

⏱️ Time to Throw on Glaze-Allowed Sacks (2025)

  • Estimated average: ~3.0–3.2 seconds
  • League average sack time: ~2.7–2.8 seconds
👉 So you’re looking at ~+0.3 to +0.5 seconds longer than normal sack plays.

🧠 What That Means

1. Not purely an OL failure

  • Sacks under ~2.5s = usually instant pressure / OL loss
  • Glaze’s sacks skewed later-developing
👉 Suggests:

  • QB progression holds
  • Routes not separating
  • Protection breaking down late rather than immediately

2. Matches what showed on film

A lot of his losses came:

  • At the top of the arc late (speed rushers winning eventually)
  • After initial engagement held up OK
  • When Geno hitched or reset in the pocket

3. Still not a clean bill of health

Even with longer time-to-throw:

  • 10 sacks allowed is still high
  • Good tackles can sustain blocks beyond 3 seconds more consistently
👉 So it’s more:

“shared responsibility”
than
“Glaze getting instantly wrecked every snap”

📊 Big Picture

  • Quick sacks (<2.5s): relatively fewer → good sign
  • Extended-play sacks (>3s): more common → development issue
👉 Translation:

  • Glaze wasn’t constantly blown up immediately
  • But he struggled to finish reps, especially vs speed

If you want, I can break down each sack individually (time to throw + rusher + move used)—that’s where it gets really revealing.

I think this is a fair assessment of his play. Not as bad as it looked, but needs to play better.

He is better than Stone Forsythe I guess. He should be a guard.

I'm working under the assumption this is another boring offseason discussion and we are trying to pretend our terrible players are awesome when everything points to the opposite. Thats more of a @Sleet thing.

@007’s solution is to trade up. It’s a viable plan. I don’t think SpyGuy will do it.

I, too, think Glaze regressed but I’m in the give Grant the opportunity to win the RT job camp. I think both would protect Mendoza better than or as well as rookie Crownover.
