Saying Ed O is on the way back to Baton Rouge to hook back up with his boy. The shit those two are going to get into is going to be great reading when this is over in three or four years. That's how they got Orgeron out without much of a fight, and Lane is even more entitled and petulant. All the stuff you've heard about him fucking people's wives and the same girls the players fuck too is true. He also might have an illicit drug problem, lol. Oxford is talking. Lane sounds like an even bigger train wreck than he was at 32.

NCAA should have fixed this a few years ago though. They need to axe that stupid early signing day that just started like five years ago and make recruiting black for a month after the season during the playoffs. After the New Year's Day Bowls and the final four teams are set, you can turn everything back on including coaching interviews with playoff team participants.

Predictably, the Rebs are already losing commitments.

They're going to take it on the chin. Lance got the #1 DL in the country today, so he's winning right now. I just don't think it's going to go the way he thinks it is there. For one LSU fans forget how bad things were before Saban. They tout that Miles and Orgeron won it all, so everyone should, but most of Miles success came off of Saban's players, and that Orgeron thing is one of the biggest anomalies in sports history because he's such a great recruiter and they got Burrow to come there for two years to tie it all together that last year. I remember the Curley Hallman and Gerry DiNardo years when I was growing up, lol. It's very reminiscent of Jimbo to A&M where somebody who bites off more they can chew for the money goes somewhere where the expectations don't match the historical ability outside of when Saban was there that seven years.

I hope Duke beats Virgina .. would be amazing to see Duke get left out in that situation

Don't they have to take the auto bid from the conference? If teams like Arizona State got in last year, they better not leave out Duke. I'm not up on the playoff rules since we won't participate in them minimum until the 2030s.

No. They take the top four conference champions. Theoretically, if JMU wins the Sun Belt and Duke wins the ACC, JMU would be ranked higher. Two G5 champions would go over 8-5 Duke.
