2025-26 Roster and Depth Chart

Thats the last position group we need. I don't think a safety is going to impact a game like a DE or QB
Sure but it's the Brock Bowers situation. Yes we need other positions more. But if we are down to tier 3 or 4 players vs generational safety...

It's also assuming we are picking outside the top 8 or something happens to every top ol/qb

GTFO with a generational safety or generational RB.

Thats just such a bad idea.

“This team is a train wreck and I’m the fall guy”…

Why not draft a safety in the top ten? He can lick his wounds and wonder “why me” just like our 1.6 running back.

There is a god damn reason like five total safeties/RBs/TEs have gone in the top 5-10 in the last couple decades lmfao.

I dont understand how this is so hard for people to grasp.

It is unfathomable to me.

Raiders Reddit still cites Louisiana Fats as a reason to avoid a first round QB and then turn away and say OK with trying another DB in the first round despite our modern bust rate at the position.

I mean the fanbase has attempted to justify taking a kicker in round one at various points over the last couple decades. I think I was even a homer who tried back then too.

Positional value matters.

If you think of Jerry Porter as the first round pick and Janikowski as the second round pick and bury exactly 5 olives in your yard under a full moon….

Yep. I remember doing that type of rationalizing too.

Probably going to do it again a couple of months too.

Haha holy shit I think you and I did that defense at KFFL back in the day!

Fuck I remember being your sidekick and defending all of it lmfao. I think it was Bill or Crow who would say "No this is a bad decision and it wont work out" back then.

Caleb downs is a monster. We could do worse
LMAO!
My man don't give a fuck about the heat.....

Day 1 gold jacket at TE and #6 overall pick RB. And this team only gets worse.

Yeah. Positional value matters. Shocking I know.
