2024 Mock Draft thread...

I thought that for a while. Now? I think we can get him mid 20s. Medical came back really bad. We don't hear all this smoke and the open letter if it didn't. His pr team is great. I like the kid. But his draft stock isn't nearly as good as media is pushing.

Granted it only takes one team to change that. But I feel good that we could get him late. Our biggest worry would be a team like the rams that may only take an opportunitistic approach to drafting a qb.

Where did you see that his medicals were bad? I read that he aced them at the combine.

Gonna be at a retirement party of sorts tonight for a college buddy, who was a post-college roommate. He’s moving to Spain (his wife has dual citizenship). Gonna be a heavy evening b/c a mutual friend and former college roommate lost his 23 year old son a few weeks back. This will be his first gathering since his son’s passing. I’ll the checking my phone on bathroom breaks.
sorry to hear that man

Sorry to hear that as well. But, make sure to hydrate-up so those bathroom breaks are frequent. Don’t wanna miss ‘With the 13th pick in the 2024 NFL Draft…The Las Vegas Raiders pick: Ennis Rakestraw, CB Missouri’

I'm full out on Sweat. He's "just" another fat fuck at DT. Couple that with getting a Dewey during draft time. Nope.

Rest of this would be good though.

But but but Maxx can rehabilitate him and then its great value lol

I do think Vegas is a terrible spot for any character concern guys. But it would be sick to see a 345 lb Ted Washington clone out there eating up blocks. There are a few other good DT's around still. This draft has some solid sleepers and mid round guys

I'd rather let Wilkins sit at the nose for most downs and then sub the fat fucks we already have (Jenkins, Nesta-Silvera) on pure running downs. If we draft a DT I want a 3-tech pass rush guy.

Yep. I agree with this sentiment. Another disruptive DT is more valuable than an immovable guy right now.

I'd be fine taking Jenkins' successor middle of Day 3, but not really looking for a Jenkins clone Day 2.

Wilkins and a guy like Murphy would have been a fun mix. Or an uninjured Newton. Wilkins + Sweat probably takes your 2nd rounder off the field too much or puts Wilkins in the wrong spot too often (even though he's capable of playing across the interior line).

Sanders went 1 so took Ward.
