2024-2025 Regular Season Roster and Depth Chart

This roster is clearly full of holes. There really shouldn’t be a position we shouldn’t be looking at improving this off-season. We’re going to have to be really active this off-season trying to fill holes.
Just for fun let’s look at guys that can stick around in 2025, I probably missed a few depth guys…
QB - O'Connell — backup QB or bridge QB while our rookie learns. Cam or Shedeur likely start right away. Milroe I’d have sit. Ideally we’re stuck with the former situation. Keeping AO'C is fine with me as a cheap backup.
RB - White, Abdullah, Laube, McCormick — They can all compete for depth roles. It’s a nice RB class, draft a rookie. Or even bring in a vet for the right price. Or both. Should be lots of competition here next year. White had his chance and I don’t know if he’s on the team next year when it’s all said and done. Abdullah has impressed me on ST and when given the chance on offense. McCormick has looked fine in small doses. Laube will have to earn a spot next year.
TE - Bowers, Mayer — Bowers is a stud and will be a central figure for our offense for years to come. Mayer is what he is… a TE2. We’re pretty well set here.
WR1 - Tucker - I think you get him a legit QB and he can be an even bigger piece to the offense. He seems to show up when given the opportunities. He’s more like a WR3.
WR2 - Meyers — just reliable and a favorite of mine. Been balling out for my FF too. Been starting him and Bowers and I’m in 1st in that league.
SL - Turner — good STer and WR depth. Hope he’s not hurt too bad.
LT - Miller — He’s bounced back, he can come back next year
LG - Meredith — Depth. I’d love to get Trey Smith in FA. Or at least draft someone.
C - Powers-Johnson — present and future starting center. He’s made his mistakes but he’s been an improvement over James. James can get traded for peanuts or cut.
RG - Parham — ideally he’s depth moving forward.
RT - Glaze, Munford — Glaze has taken his lumps but I like the kid. He was a bit of a project, let him develop and compete for the RT job in 2025. Munford is depth.
RDE - Koonce, Chaisson — Really hope Koonce gets brought back. Chaisson has shown enough to stick around as depth.
UT - Wilkins, A Butler — I’m still glad we have Wilkins. Gonna need to add more talent here next year.
NT -
LDE - Crosby, Wilson — Crosby is obviously a stud. Wilson has improved but he’ll never live up to his draft spot, he’s at least okay depth.
WLB - Deablo, Gainer — no real strong feelings on Deablo, he’s meh. Gainer can keep developing. There’s plenty of room to improve our LB room in the off-season.
MLB - Spillane, Burney — gotta bring Spillane back. Burney can compete as depth.
SLB - Eichenburg — gonna have to compete next year for a job
RCB - Jones — he’s disappointed this year but he’s cheap, I’d be fine letting him compete next year even if AP isn’t here
LCB - Bennett, Richardson — Bennett had a decent year. Richardson can stick around and develop.
NB - Hobbs — just have a feeling Hobbs is gone in FA, I’d like him back. One way or another we need to add talent to the CB room this off-season.
FS - Moehrig, Smith, Taylor — Moehrig is fine and I’d like to bring him back. Smith and Taylor can compete.
SS - Epps — I’d like to see Epps back, too. Still room to add talent to the safety room though.

I don’t know who could watch yesterday’s game and say millers has bounced back. He should be backup at best.

I’ll admit I didn’t get to watch yesterday’s going close, was on the road with shoddy service. Caught the end though.
