2023 Regular Season Roster and Depth Chart

My guess is top 10 when all is said and done. We need to be prepared to do what we need to do whatever it takes to get our guy this year. I’m thinking probably 7-10 and hovering right around 1.10.
Yes. And stop this "that's too much to give up". That's loser mentality. Keeping all our picks has done what for us? Nothing.

Or is he?
long ways to go to slot all these guys. We are lucky that this year there are quite a few prospects that are worthy of consideration but we need to start losing again or we are fucked. There are too many QB needy teams ahead of us that aren't going to be interested in trading out. Maybe we can sell our souls for one of Chicago's picks but there will be teams with better picks to offer than us if we keep winning.

Daniel’s has all the things we want in a QB. And he’s not going in the top 3 so trading up to get him might be a thing.
I’ve watched him every season in college. He sucked at ASU but every season he’s gotten better. That dude is just a playmaker and his accuracy is just bananas now. That dude is putting the ball in the corners, sidelines and backend of the end zone on the money. Hitting receivers in stride and leading them to the ball, his accuracy is just crazy. Throw in the fact that he can make plays with his legs, he’s legit. I was all in on Bo Nix earlier in the year, but I think Daniel’s is better.

Arm and accuracy are adequate. Would expect decision making, going through progressions, getting rid of the ball, not taking sacks, to improve over time.

But at the end of the day the lack of ability to make things happen with his legs will prevent him from being The Man.

Need to have a guy that at the very least can extend plays. Can't just drop straight back, hold it, and wind up taking a sack.

Doesn't have to be Lamar Jackson, but for crying out loud, look to move the chains once in a blue moon with your legs.

Well, at least Aidan isn't an idiot phony pussy like TFQB. I like the kid but it is what it is.

Still need a top notch QB. Can't realistically expect to win a SB without one.
Bingo

At Purdue, when they lost, I saw the same thing you all saw yesterday- inability to move and due to that, throwing picks or taking sacks (see Purdue vs Wisconsin at Camp Randall in 2022)

That’s why his upside is limited. Love the kid. He’s gutty, and smart. But can you win a SB with him? No.

You can see he's about to take a sack two seconds before it happens. Fucking infuriating.

Koonce has been a nice surprise.... :^

Over the last 4 games #Raiders EDGE Malcolm Koonce is really starting to put things together, primarily as a pass rush specialist:

- 112 snaps (28 RDEF, 78 PRSH)
- 13 pressures
- 2 sacks (3 without penalty)
- 4 QB Hits
- 2 TFL
- 8 Stops
- Forced Fumble
- 13.7% Win Rate

Earned his snaps but he has to improve vs the run to see more time, and he has with only 1 missed tackle in the last four weeks

Good to see. I thought he had a sack at the weekend, but it's not showing in the stats. Was it wiped off due to penalty?

Anyway - hopefully this is the emergence of a good player and not just an aberration. If it is him starting to be good, it's taken him best part of three years to get there. Which seems about what you'd expect, even if it's not what you'd hope for.

Agreed, but on a few of the plays I was pissed at the play call. 3rd and 6ish, we’re running deep/long routes without an outlet option. With his lack of mobility, he needs to be able to release the ball quickly. Especially when the D knows we’re throwing it. Save your long developing/deep routes for play action when you can surprise the defense. 3rd and under 10, call some quicker routes and give him an outlet option for blitz packages.

The horizontal outs were infuriating. Attach down the middle- all of our WRs are able to get open in the middle. And one thing that's been apparent all year is that every QB force feeds Adams. They all seem compelled to get him the ball no matter what. That rookie TE is a beast- and should get more balls as should Renfrow and both operate well in the middle of the field.

And this team badly needs a fast shifty RB that break long runs. If the other team is going to sell out to stop the rub make em pay with a guy that can get through the LOS and run for daylight.

We seriously could have spammed them with short passes to Meyer and Renfrow and won this game. Bo is a moron.
