2023 Regular Season Roster and Depth Chart

He’s going to build a career out of not being the biggest problem.
This is the kind of shit that makes it difficult to actually build a winner.

This Raiders franchise has been so poorly managed that they can hit on 2 or 3 players in a draft, but the rest of the team either SUCKS ASS or "just isn't the biggest problem." And the Raiders don't have enough resources to address their giant gaping holes and still address their "isn't the biggest problems."

It's how we had Donald Penn on the verge of breaking down for 5 years without replacement waiting in the wings. It's why the Raiders were stuck with Austin Howard for 3 years until his contract ballooned.

The good teams have a ratio of resources-to-problems that allows them to draft guys as backfills for the Andre James(es) and Donald Penns of the game rather than waiting for them to break down or become the biggest problem.

Until we can look at the roster and find half a dozen guys like Andre James, Khalif Barnes, and Jermaine Eleumenor as super-subs instead of 4-year starters, we're not going to be competitors year in and year out.

yeah, but all this isn't our biggest problem.

DJ’s apparently the answer to who’s taking the FB’s roster spot.

Film on our rag tag CB room. We’re fucked. Lol

This is why I hope Jacobs appealed the last fine. They are piling up. Suspension is coming.

I was surprised how awful his pocket presence was today. And his decision making under pressure was horrendous.

Draft a quarterback you dummies.

His pocket presence and accuracy are bigger issues than his mobility imo. Plain old decision making isn’t exactly pro ready either. If you ignore context you’d be hard pressed to see much difference between him and the guys on the bench today.

Arm and accuracy are adequate. Would expect decision making, going through progressions, getting rid of the ball, not taking sacks, to improve over time.

But at the end of the day the lack of ability to make things happen with his legs will prevent him from being The Man.

Need to have a guy that at the very least can extend plays. Can't just drop straight back, hold it, and wind up taking a sack.

Doesn't have to be Lamar Jackson, but for crying out loud, look to move the chains once in a blue moon with your legs.

Well, at least Aidan isn't an idiot phony pussy like TFQB. I like the kid but it is what it is.

Still need a top notch QB. Can't realistically expect to win a SB without one.
