Seriously?!? Chiefs let THill get away with worse and if authorities didn’t throw Fat Andy’s son in the slammer he would still be on their sidelines.
I forgot. Carry on. Nothing to see here.

Just got pardoned by the governor. He’ll be back on the sideline in no time.

I thought this must have been a joke so went off and googled it. But, (and apologies for not thinking anyone could stoop so low), sure enough, the Governor commuted his sentence. Fucking hell. Must mean the physical efforts in the superbowl of 48 Chiefs players means Reid's son is a good guy after all, right?

You'd have thought that Britt Reid, the bloke himself, or his father Andy would have said 'No, we can't do that, a DUI with a kid whose life has been destroyed? It would look too bad.' But instead, they accepted it. And his lawyer had the total fucking audacity to say he was using the extra time to dedicating himself to being a present father to his kids. What a twat.

One of the reports I read said he got out only eight weeks early. Maybe the Governor thinks that makes it excusable. To my mind that makes it worse - you've only got 56 more days, so suck it up. I can't imagine he was in a terrible prison anyway; I'll bet the fat useless prick had it pretty cushy anyway.

The world is sad.

I thought it was the rest of his sentence was commuted to house arrest.

Which is still a total joke.

Scum bag. And KC isn’t cutting him immediately?

Why would they? Morally, yes. Pragmatically, it is foolish.

Cut him and if he gets a light sentence, some team picks up a stud for free (Kareem Hunt). The NFL should have a reserve list for these situations.

Yes, that's what I implied by '... commuted his sentence' but I should've finished the thought. As you say, commuted to 'house detention', or somesuch mealy-mouthed bullshit.

I wonder if he was tagged to ensure he stayed in the house?

A sniper could handle that duty.
