Usually, I reserve this thread for the off-season, as it helps to pass the time as well as allow us to all know each other better. However, given the amount of us who invaded this board overnight, I think some introductions are only appropriate with our fellow Raider fans. So... cut and paste it into your reply and then answer away.

1. What boards have you posted on and using which names?
I started out on CNN/SI and was also posting on fansinblack (whichever incarnation it was back then) but then I switched over to KFFL and stayed there for years. Now I'm here. I've used the same screen name since I first registered at CNN/SI.

2. Who are your current favorite offensive and defensive players?
On offense, I think Andrew Walter wins this one in a landslide and I'm no exception. You've gotta like this kid.
Defensively, I think I'm going to go with Thomas Howard right now. He hits people like people ought to be hit.

3. Who are your all-time favorite offensive and defensive players?
All time, I'm taking Tim Brown on offense and Jack Tatum on defense. Timmy could probably stand to censor himself from time to time, but he was the man for a lot of years for the Raiders, often being the lone bright spot. As for Jack, the guy was just a beast and I love hard hitting... and NOBODY outhit Jack Tatum.

4. You've got a gun and a pardon and Walt Coleman's body is freshly buried in your back yard... whereabouts would that backyard be?
Currently in Omaha, Nebraska, where reside a lot of Chief and Bronco fans. Yee-haw.

5. Is the glass half full, half empty, or simply engineered wrong for amount of liquid it is supposed to be holding?
Half full. You've got to be optimistic in life. It sucks if you aren't.

6. Where do you stand on Al Davis as owner of the organization?
Al Davis is a legend, a genius, and truly IS the Raiders. The talk about him being out of touch is no different than what they were saying in 1999. We shut 'em up for a couple of years, but haters will hate.

7. Where do you stand on Marcus Allen as a Raider?
Now that he's stopped his annual cry-fest about it (Al treated me wrong, it wasn't fair, the fans never appreciated me, blah, blah, blah) he doesn't irritate me nearly as much. I'm still far from a fan, however. In short, f*** him.

8. Where do our division rivals rank on your personal hate-o-meter.
The Kansas Chiefs are at the top, pinning the needle at "I hope they get killed by their own parents." Following that, the Broncos are there at "If they got hit by a bus, I wouldn't celebrate, but I'd be okay with it." Finishing last, the Chargers put the meter at "Didn't I used to kick your ass when we were younger? Shut the hell up."

9. What kind of stuff do you like to do in your spare time?
Typical Daddy stuff. Youth soccer coach, Tiger scout den leader. I also love to fire up a smoker or a grill. And, this summer, I started making sushi.

10. What is your drink of choice?
Shiner Bock. Barring that, Amber Bock is a good, cheap alternative. Although, truth be told, Shiner doesn't cost all that much either...

11. What other professional or collegiate sports teams do you follow, if any?
I'm definitely a L.A. Lakers fan. Once upon a time (before MLB cancelled the World Series in a labor dispute) I used to follow the A's as religiously as I follow the Raiders. Now I like to check the standings and see that they're doing well. I love the Texas A&M Fightin' Aggies - and you should, too, since they're giving us our only Pro-Bowler this year. I've also got a soft spot for UCONN Basketball, dating back to the 80s.

12. Offense or defense?
Defense. I love the big hits. It's why I get mad every time they change the rules to help the offense.

13. What is the single greatest moment you remember witnessing in Raider history?
Ironically, Marcus Allen's touchdown run in the Super Bowl. That floored me.

14. What is the single most disappointing moment you remember witnessing in Raider history?
This one is specific to me and it's because I'd lived overseas for a long, long time and only got to catch highlights before that. Well... in 1997, I'm finally back home in the U.S. of A. Opening day and we're playing the Chiefs. We're winning and Kansas City is down to their last gasp... and then Andre Rison gets behind Terry McDaniel in the endzone. Yeah, that was the first Raider game I'd gotten to watch in YEARS and that's how the fucking thing ended.

15. What are your biggest pre-draft whiffs?
Well, I was on the "Ryan Leaf will be better in the long term" bandwagon. I was also the head of the "LaDanian Tomlinson is nothing more than a 3rd down back" fan club. Yeah, 'tis true. I was thrilled when we drafted Derrick Gibson as I'd been calling for us to draft just about as soon as the off-season began that year. Yes, even after Archuletta shot up the draft board.

16. Yeah, okay... but which ones were you by-God right about?
I was right that Akili Smith would never amount to anything. I was right about Bernard Berrian being a hell of a 3rd round pick for whomever drafted him. While he was still a senior in college, I proclaimed Shane Lechler "the second coming of Ray Guy."

17. Are you married, attached, or single and what's her deal on football Sundays?
I'm happily married and her deal is that she doesn't like football at all. She just has no interest in it. Usually, I head out to the Sports Bar for the Raider game. I used to spend all day there, watching the morning, afternoon, and evening games there... but since the birth of our 2nd child, my wife doesn't take as kindly to that as she used to...

18. You are granted a bonafide miracle and you've now got the physique, conditioning, and training to man a spot on the field for the Raiders. Which spot do you choose?
I'm playing safety. Probably because I'm a buck fifty soaking wet (with a rock in each pocket), I'd love to just go Tatum out there and break some people in half.

19. If you could take one player from any team to make this team better, who are you taking?
Walter Jones... and I'm not even giving it a second thought.

20. With 6 games down and 10 to go, what's your prediction on Oakland's final record?
My heart says 11-5... but my head says 4-12 again. I do think that we'll continue to see progress as the season wears on though.

1. What boards have you posted on and using which names?
KFFL for 3-4 years, and lurked for a few too. Crows Board (NFL Forums) for a little bit too. Never RF.NET

The names always the same. Never been banned, or had a reason to switch user names.

2. Who are your current favorite offensive and defensive players?
Kirk Morrison and Ron Curry (I like Moss too, sorry). Also a big fan of Gallery and Tom Howard and Terd Sands are growing on me.

I hate Randal Williams though. :)

3. Who are your all-time favorite offensive and defensive players?
Eric Turner. He was my favorite before he was a Raider and while he was a Raider. RIP.

Timmy B. as well...He IS the Raiders in my mind.

4. You've got a gun and a pardon and Walt Coleman's body is freshly buried in your back yard... whereabouts would that backyard be?
B.C Canada. (About 6 hours from Vancouver for you Americans). If I could live anywhere...I don't know. Somewhere tropical and warm. Suggestions?

5. Is the glass half full, half empty, or simply engineered wrong for amount of liquid it is supposed to be holding? Half full, but I've never been so down on the organization as I am right now. Things will get better though...This ship can be righted by Art Shell, IMO.

6. Where do you stand on Al Davis as owner of the organization?
He's a god. Untouchable in my eyes. Sorry, but its true.
7. Where do you stand on Marcus Allen as a Raider?
Indifferent. I was very young during his debacle, and I tend not to judge something I dont know much about...

8. Where do our division rivals rank on your personal hate-o-meter.
On a scale of 1-100---> KC 100 | Denver 75 | SD 15 (Sorry they are an afterthought 90% of the time...Great posters usually though)

9. What kind of stuff do you like to do in your spare time?
Golf, Video games and Internet Raider Message boards. Im a loser. :)

10. What is your drink of choice?
Coffee. When its Friday night...Rye and Coke.

11. What other professional or collegiate sports teams do you follow, if any?
None with the passion of the Raiders, but I like the Raptors in the NBA and the Canucks in the NHL.

12. Offense or defense?

Defense. No doubt.

13. What is the single greatest moment you remember witnessing in Raider history?
Im a younger guy, so I havent seen as much as many, but I loved the AFCC game on our route to the SB (My dad is a Titans fan, and it was a great family moment. Die hard Titans fan)

Oddly enough, I loved our win in Mile High recently, when we were a horrible team and shocked the world (Curry's catch game) in the snow
14. What is the single most disappointing moment you remember witnessing in Raider history?
Gannon breaking his neck, and Finding out Eric Turner passed away.

Nothing touches the Fumble for me though. Don't bring it up.
15. What are your biggest pre-draft whiffs?

Gallery, easily. I loved the pick, predicted greatness, and have been eating humble pie since.

I also hated the Routt/Washington picks of last year...Woops.
16. Yeah, okay... but which ones were you by-God right about?

Hmm. I still think Alex Smith is a top 10 QB in the NFL. I called Marion Barber and Frank Gore as NFL caliber starters. Anquan Boldin despite popular belief doesnt run a 4.7 forty, and is a Top tier receiver.

I also liked the Kirk Morrison pick, and said Greg Jennings would be a steal for Green Bay (So far, so good)
17. Are you married, attached, or single and what's her deal on football Sundays?
Attached. A great girl of four years, who has (pretended for my affection) to love the Raiders, and will watch a game with me on occasion. She can name about 5 players off the Raiders to make me happy. Marriage is coming soon..She doesnt know it yet, but it'll be a good Christmas if I man up.
18. You are granted a bonafide miracle and you've now got the physique, conditioning, and training to man a spot on the field for the Raiders. Which spot do you choose?

Cornerback. I played it growing up, and loved shutting down cocky, top notch receivers...If you dont get heard from or yelled at all game...You played well. No glory for me. Stopping the big plays and glory was my style. (Even though I was as average as it gets)

19. If you could take one player from any team to make this team better, who are you taking?

LT or Peyton Manning. I also wouldnt mind Walter Jones.

20. With 6 games down and 10 to go, what's your prediction on Oakland's final record?
I predicted 6-10 this year (Seriously) and will stick with it. 4-12 is probably more realistic though.

Great thread TNS, and I was hoping we could have a thread like this pop up soon...

1. What boards have you posted on and using which names?
I've been at what's now KFFL since it was Mouth Off. Since I was a freshman in high school, which was, oh, seven years ago or so. I'm also at Crow's board even though I mostly just lurk there. All under donovan.

2. Who are your current favorite offensive and defensive players?
Offense - Oh, Christ. Well... Andrew Walter sent me back a personalized autographed card through the mail. And I liked him even before that. Ronald Curry. Justin Fargas and Kevin Boothe--BIG BOOF!--are turning my head, though. Randy is kind of falling out of favor with me, even though I still dig him.

Defense - Kirk Morrison, Derrick Burgess, Terdell Sands, in that order.

3. Who are your all-time favorite offensive and defensive players?
Offense - Tim Brown, Napoleon Kaufman, Rich Gannon, Bo Jackson
Defense - Jack Tatum, Charles Woodson, George Atkinson

All of those in no real particular order.

4. You've got a gun and a pardon and Walt Coleman's body is freshly buried in your back yard... whereabouts would that backyard be?
Central Coast of California.

5. Is the glass half full, half empty, or simply engineered wrong for amount of liquid it is supposed to be holding?
The last option out of that bunch.

6. Where do you stand on Al Davis as owner of the organization?
Historically, the man. Stopped being the man. I don't consider him the man right now. Sorry. I'd love to. Needs to offer head coaching candidates autonomy, needs to prioritize "glue" players higher (fullback, tight end, guard, etc.), etc. The usual complaints, for the most part.

7. Where do you stand on Marcus Allen as a Raider?
Before my time, really. I want to just say "fuck him", but, ... meh.

8. Where do our division rivals rank on your personal hate-o-meter.
1. Denver
2. San Diego NOW after the past few years of juicing, taunting, and overratedness
3. Kansas City

9. What kind of stuff do you like to do in your spare time?
Waste time on these, music, movies, MySpacing :o

10. What is your drink of choice?
Lemonade... or orange soda... I stopped drinking booze.

11. What other professional or collegiate sports teams do you follow, if any?
Pro - None, really. Even though I love basketball and consequently the NBA. I'd say the Warriors but I think they're a joke and if they ever make the playoffs I'd probably need to make hospital reservations. The Kings I can claim 'cause of my birthplace but it's not like I lose sleep if they lose or something.

College - Michigan Wolverines basketball and football because of my boo, Kentucky Wildcats basketball because my hometown hero may be their starting point guard as a freshman this year, Cal Poly SLO everything because that's where I'm going.

12. Offense or defense?
Defense. Whenever I get clowned or dog this team in public, I always say, "But I like the defense."

13. What is the single greatest moment you remember witnessing in Raider history?
Man... SINGLE? Moment? Hmm... Wheat Dogg pulling eight Chiefs into the end zone, maybe. Game? 45-0 over Tampa in 1999, my first in-person Raiders game. Or, the AFC Championship in '02. So I skewed this answer, so what.

14. What is the single most disappointing moment you remember witnessing in Raider history?
The Super Bowl. Let's just leave it at that. In more recent memory, I dropped hundreds of bucks on this year's opener... nine sacks and a shutout later we had to drive three hours home, and everyone in the car got sick. Fun fun fun.

15. What are your biggest pre-draft whiffs?
For us? I thought Gallery was going to be a stud. I thought our '02 draft would be gangsta. Sadly, much of it was in mentality or intelligence, not in ability. :( In general... hmm I'd have to be looking at some lists. And I never quite get too attached to prospects to an extent where I could be like, "Yeah, I thought THAT was gonna be the best ever at his position" type stuff.

16. Yeah, okay... but which ones were you by-God right about?
BRUCE GRADKOWSKI check my KFFL threads people be knowin'. Long-term, I'd have to think really hard... most of our guys I've been right about, I think.

17. Are you married, attached, or single and what's her deal on football Sundays?
Attached, kind of, in a long-term relationship with a girl from Ann Arbor. Naturally, she's all about the Wolverines. Knows her shit, it's no joke. First time I talked to her after the MNF opener I had her watch, she goes, "What the FUCK is wrong with your o-line?!" :D She claims the Lions but that's kind of like me with the Warriors, as I went into earlier... in another word, what-evurrrrr.

18. You are granted a bonafide miracle and you've now got the physique, conditioning, and training to man a spot on the field for the Raiders. Which spot do you choose?
Strong safety.

19. If you could take one player from any team to make this team better, who are you taking?
Whooo... gimme... gotta be Peyton Manning. Then we can go from there. Shit, just let him call all the plays for himself.

20. With 6 games down and 10 to go, what's your prediction on Oakland's final record?
3-13

1. What boards have you posted on and using which names?
San Jose Mercury News Raiders End Zone. When it went goofy, Bones set up his own and I joined him with most of the crew from the Merc. Then he took a hiatus before putting up this board. Been to a couple other fan boards, always as Rupert.

2. Who are your current favorite offensive and defensive players?
I tend to like up and coming players. So while I was big into Curry, now that he's arrived, I'm supporting Walter. On defense I'm looking for Hawthorne to make some waves soon, but Sands has been a monster. Hell, they're are too many good kids out there. I'm stoked with the D.

3. Who are your all-time favorite offensive and defensive players?
Kenny the Snake on Offense and Lester the Molester on D. No-one embodies the Raiders more for me than the gunslinger and the shutdown intimidator.

4. You've got a gun and a pardon and Walt Coleman's body is freshly buried in your back yard... whereabouts would that backyard be?
Believe it or not I'm in L.A. proper.

5. Is the glass half full, half empty, or simply engineered wrong for amount of liquid it is supposed to be holding?
In general half-full, but after two series in the 3rd quarter, I'll tell you for sure.

6. Where do you stand on Al Davis as owner of the organization?
He is the Raiders. He made the Raiders what they were, what they are, and what they will be. We better get a real prick when he passes the torch. I don't want no warm and fuzzy media-friendly guy. It would just feel wrong.

7. Where do you stand on Marcus Allen as a Raider?
One of the greatest of all time. Period. He got in a pissing match with Al. So what, two huge ego's went head to head. Ever seen me get in an argument? :D

8. Where do our division rivals rank on your personal hate-o-meter.
I hate absolutely none of them. BFD. They don't rate high enough to deserve my hate. Schottenheimer on the other hand comes pretty close. I don't hate Shanahan though nor Gruden.

9. What kind of stuff do you like to do in your spare time?
Holy Crap! Too many damned things. I play drums, paint, write music, write computer logic, etc.

10. What is your drink of choice?
Currently into tea. Was into wine for the past six or so years. Water really kicks ass though.

11. What other professional or collegiate sports teams do you follow, if any?
Always got to Angels Spring Training, have L.A. Kings season tickets, and follow the Lakers in passing.

12. Offense or defense?
Can't choose. As much as I love offensive strategy, finding ways to stop it is just as fun.

13. What is the single greatest moment you remember witnessing in Raider history?
Bob Golic crying on the field after his next to last game as a professional and getting the start and the majority of reps in the next game, his last, because of Al Davis. Nothing embodied the passion some of these men have for the game and the respect Al Davis has for them more than those combined moments.

14. What is the single most disappointing moment you remember witnessing in Raider history?
January 20, 1991 - 51-3.

15. What are your biggest pre-draft whiffs?
Don't know. I leave the past behind (when I can).

16. Yeah, okay... but which ones were you by-God right about?
I picked Huff this year. Process of elimination really. Blind freaking luck is another way of putting it.

17. Are you married, attached, or single and what's her deal on football Sundays?
Single, but looking for a football widow.

18. You are granted a bonafide miracle and you've now got the physique, conditioning, and training to man a spot on the field for the Raiders. Which spot do you choose?
Wide receiver or safety. Always had the concentration but love shutting down the mouths.

19. If you could take one player from any team to make this team better, who are you taking?
Walter Jones.

20. With 6 games down and 10 to go, what's your prediction on Oakland's final record?
6-10

1. What boards have you posted on and using which names?
Started out on the Raider Fan Magazine (RFN) board, then moved over to the FansInBlack. Was a big mock draft nerd back in college, and TheNextStep talked me into joining KFFL for that reason. Started out as "bigwade," switched to "BradyFumbled" after KFFL changed formats.

2. Who are your current favorite offensive and defensive players?
O- Randy Moss. Curry's up there too.
D- Stu Schwiegert..... I have no idea how to spell his name, but the first time I saw him, I knew Al was going to draft him.

O- Bo Jackson. With all due respect to Tim Brown.
D- Charles Woodson. Was the rock of our team for a while, really got old fast though.

6. Where do you stand on Al Davis as owner of the organization?
He IS the organization. That's really all there is to it.

7. Where do you stand on Marcus Allen as a Raider?
He was great. Business is business, I've no problems with him.

8. Where do our division rivals rank on your personal hate-o-meter.
Denver, San Diego, Kansas City. In that order. Definately hate New England more than any of them.

9. What kind of stuff do you like to do in your spare time?
Hang out with friends, drink beer, throw darts, waste time on the internet...

10. What is your drink of choice?
Coors Lite

11. What other professional or collegiate sports teams do you follow, if any?
Houston Astros

12. Offense or defense?
Offense

13. What is the single greatest moment you remember witnessing in Raider history?
My favorite was Tim Brown's punt return for a TD against the Chiefs a few years back, I think it was '01. Back when we used to be good.

14. What is the single most disappointing moment you remember witnessing in Raider history?
Definately the Snow Job. That one stung even worse than the Super Bowl loss.

15. What are your biggest pre-draft whiffs?
I'm Lil Al, I don't whiff :p

16. Yeah, okay... but which ones were you by-God right about?
This year Kevin Booth. And the fact that Gallery was a stupid pick.

17. Are you married, attached, or single and what's her deal on football Sundays?
Single

18. You are granted a bonafide miracle and you've now got the physique, conditioning, and training to man a spot on the field for the Raiders. Which spot do you choose?
General Manager

19. If you could take one player from any team to make this team better, who are you taking?
Definately Peyton Manning, hands down the best player in the game.

20. With 6 games down and 10 to go, what's your prediction on Oakland's final record?

5. Is the glass half full, half empty, or simply engineered wrong for amount of liquid it is supposed to be holding?
Half full.

6. Where do you stand on Al Davis as owner of the organization?
He has done alot of good, but I do think it is time for him to let others help.

7. Where do you stand on Marcus Allen as a Raider?
Fuck him. He was great while here and he did get a raw deal, but he made millions and was famous .. so get over it whiner.

8. Where do our division rivals rank on your personal hate-o-meter.
Chiefs first with Broncs a close second. San Diego is a distant third. All three now pale in comparison to my hatred for the *Pats.

16. Yeah, okay... but which ones were you by-God right about?
None lately.

17. Are you married, attached, or single and what's her deal on football Sundays?
Married. She is usuallly running around doing stuff around the house or grocery shopping. My football viewing this year has been in the form of having the TV on and listening to it as I do home projects.

18. You are granted a bonafide miracle and you've now got the physique, conditioning, and training to man a spot on the field for the Raiders. Which spot do you choose?
Safety. Would love to lay the lumber down on receiver like Porter.

19. If you could take one player from any team to make this team better, who are you taking?
Peyton Manning.

20. With 6 games down and 10 to go, what's your prediction on Oakland's final record?
3-13 or 4-12. Big departure from my original estimate of 7-9 or 8-8. Losses to SF and the Brownies really killed that pipedream.

20. With 6 games down and 10 to go, what's your prediction on Oakland's final record? 11-5. We are going to the Super Bowl....didn't you see my thread?

1. What boards have you posted on and using which names?
Started out posting on the CNNSI boards and almost around the same time found the old San Jose Mercury site. CNNSI just shut down one day without warning (which gave me an idea years later) and the Merc changed their software and it just went tits up. So I started a site called The End Zone and later it evolved into BlackReign.net. Joined KFFL which became my home for about 3-4 years...and here we are because of circumstances beyond my control. Thanks for being here guys. I used to post under Phil R but now I use CrossBones anywhere I post.

2. Who are your current favorite offensive and defensive players?
On offense: Ronal Curry
On defense: Fabian Washington

6. Where do you stand on Al Davis as owner of the organization?
I love Al davis most times. Like many I have had my days where I'm down on the guy. But realistically he tries hard to bing in the best players. Sometimes it just doesn't work out the way it's drawn up. When it does he's a hero when it doesn't the game has passed him by. WTF?

7. Where do you stand on Marcus Allen as a Raider?
I love Marcus. One of the greatest Raider players of all time. Whatever really happened between Allen and the organization I don't care. My memories are of #32 making the Raiders a great team.

13. What is the single greatest moment you remember witnessing in Raider history?
Winning Super Bowl XI -- it made it the best because I was there.

14. What is the single most disappointing moment you remember witnessing in Raider history?
Ummm...shitty question. There are so many. The Immaculate Reception devastated me even tough it was only a playoff game. The 51-3 ass kicking in the AFC Championship game in Buffalo and the loss to Baltimore in the AFC Championsip game. Again I was at that one and it was a dark day. The Snow Job. We won't talk about Super Bowl XXXVII.

15. What are your biggest pre-draft whiffs?
Ted Watts -- dude had a highlight film and eveything. I was convinced he was going to be the real deal. He wasn't.

16. Yeah, okay... but which ones were you by-God right about?
LaDainian Tomlinson.

17. Are you married, attached, or single and what's her deal on football Sundays?
Married. She isn't into football. I watch football. She gardens. It's perfect. She used to come to Raider games and join in our tailgate parties and paint faces Silver & Black. She's a tropper in that regard.

18. You are granted a bonafide miracle and you've now got the physique, conditioning, and training to man a spot on the field for the Raiders. Which spot do you choose?
Quaterback. Cuz I'm good like that. (I'd prefer the OL's the Snake had to the one AW has now, however).

19. If you could take one player from any team to make this team better, who are you taking?
LaDainian Tomlinson (Peyton Manning would be dead by now from the beating he'd take)

20. With 6 games down and 10 to go, what's your prediction on Oakland's final record?
Well I'll go with 4-12.

16. Yeah, okay... but which ones were you by-God right about? I wanted Bing he may be there next year and I also liked Woodson, Jano, Lechler, La'Roi Glover, Bo, and Wiz. I am not to good at perdicting the draft picks.

1. What boards have you posted on and using which names?

Started out on the old Jim Rome smacktalk board nailing those "War Jim Rome" nuthuggers...

Moved on to NFLTalk and then to kffl at the same time the Mouthoff guys made the trek after NFL Talk went down... Also spent some years on a Chiefs board poking fun at the fatties...

Posted at kffl as hawaiianboy/big58/Wolverine/The Jacket/GW, we're all the same person :D

2. Who are your current favorite offensive and defensive players?

Offense: Zach Crockett as a RB
Defense: Kirk Morrison

3. Who are your all-time favorite offensive and defensive players?

Offense: Wiz, Jon Ritchie
Defense: Jack Tatum, Howie

4. You've got a gun and a pardon and Walt Coleman's body is freshly buried in your back yard... whereabouts would that backyard be?

Bury him deep enough in my backyard and he'll pop up shark chum somewhere in the middle of the Pacific Ocean...

5. Is the glass half full, half empty, or simply engineered wrong for amount of liquid it is supposed to be holding?

Usually half full when it comes to the players, half empty when it comes to coaches...

6. Where do you stand on Al Davis as owner of the organization?

He's the reason I became a Raider fan and he had a great run, but I think it's time for some new blood with a more up to date approach to collegiate scouting and coaching.... Turn it over to Amy and let her go Gordon Gekko on the league...

7. Where do you stand on Marcus Allen as a Raider?

He's dead to me... I'm sick of hearing about him to be honest...

8. Where do our division rivals rank on your personal hate-o-meter.

Chiefs with a bullet, followed by the Donx, Seahawks (F them, they're still AFC to me), Bolts.... They're not in our division, but the Steelers and Pats would be right behind Denver...

9. What kind of stuff do you like to do in your spare time?

Beach with the wife, kid and dog... Golf... Workout... Been watching alot of old school fights on youtube lately...

10. What is your drink of choice?

Don't do alchohol anymore... Strictly a Diet Pepsi guy these days...

11. What other professional or collegiate sports teams do you follow, if any?

UH Womens volleyball... Lakers.... whichever team I happen to be betting on...

12. Offense or defense?

Defense all the way, every day... Loved that season where for 3 or 4 games in a row we put 3-4 starting QB's out of the game... I miss Regan Upshaw dammit...

13. What is the single greatest moment you remember witnessing in Raider history?

Loved when that Jano kick in OT of the last game of the '99 season knocked the Chiefs out of the playoffs... Those pics that ran with the Chief fans crying in the end zone seats were priceless... Wish I had saved them to use as an avatar...

The Rod Woodson pick 6 at Denver on MNF was huge... Coupled with Gannon going 34-36 or something obscene like that makes this game Bronco game memorable...

Gotta go with the Alzado emotional breeakdown on the sideline after teh '83 SB though...

14. What is the single most disappointing moment you remember witnessing in Raider history?

The last Super Bowl was assugly, but the Siragusa belly flop and Tuck games really hurt because I felt we were the best team in the league both years...

15. What are your biggest pre-draft whiffs?

I hated Drew Brees, loved Mike BMW Williams, loved the PBuchethead pick, hated Eli Manning, didn't really like Reggie Wayne ...

16. Yeah, okay... but which ones were you by-God right about?

I had Kevin Williams going top 5 when mocks still had him an early 2nd rounder, loved Adrian Wilson, loved Troy Polamalu, loved Marcus McNeil, knew Ryan Sims was a dog...

17. Are you married, attached, or single and what's her deal on football Sundays?

Married to a Niner fan who talks alot of trash... Her pops was a long time football coach so she knows the game...

18. You are granted a bonafide miracle and you've now got the physique, conditioning, and training to man a spot on the field for the Raiders. Which spot do you choose?

It's been over 15 years since college and I still wake up with football related aches and pains just about every day... Not even in a pretend mode do I want any part of playing again...

19. If you could take one player from any team to make this team better, who are you taking?

Julius Peppers ahead of Jamal Williams and Olin Kreutz...

20. With 6 games down and 10 to go, what's your prediction on Oakland's final record?

4-12... Defense will get better and better, but I think our offensive will continue to be our downfall against the mid level to better defenses.... I really hate our 1st down playcalling and we still have to show we can adjust to 34 defenses of which we'll see 3 more times this year...

I won't really start feeling real optimistic till we prove we can win a divisional game or two...

1. What boards have you posted on and using which names?

Started out on the old Merc, followed the Endzoners around through at least 2 or 3 different itterations of the message board until it finally became Blackreign. When that went poof one day, something possessed me to try and start TheRaidersEndZone as a continuation of that group of posters (despite knowing about zero regarding web administration). I dabbled over at Raiderforum for the past couple of years to try and keep in touch with peeps, but they're mostly gone now and the tone isn't what I'm looking for. So, now it's the latest version of the Endzone and here. Started out originally at the Merc using my full name, now I go by my usual virtual-named self as I'm known in the gaming community and whatnot, Turo.

2. Who are your current favorite offensive and defensive players?

Bo Jackson. Not even close! Best RB talent to ever play the game. Defense? Hard to not go with Lester Hayes, maybe Jack Tatum as 1b.

3. Who are your all-time favorite offensive and defensive players?

I'm pretty big on Andrew Walter right now, while there's 2 or 3 guys that deserve honorable mention and I tend to go the same route as Roop in favoring up-and-comers, AW is my top guy right now on O. For defense, I like a lot of what's going on there, but if I had to pick one guy, I guess it would be Kirk Morrison, maybe Big Terd.

4. You've got a gun and a pardon and Walt Coleman's body is freshly buried in your back yard... whereabouts would that backyard be?

Currently in Las Vegas. Hopefully, not for long.

5. Is the glass half full, half empty, or simply engineered wrong for amount of liquid it is supposed to be holding?

Typically a half-full guy.

6. Where do you stand on Al Davis as owner of the organization?

Man, that's a hard one. There are days when I think he's the shiz, and there are days when I wonder if the game hasn't passed him by. Strangely, I don't feel as strong of an emotional attachment to the guy as many Raider fans do. Dunno why, just don't.

7. Where do you stand on Marcus Allen as a Raider?

Loved Marcus while he was here, his superbowl run was the first game I ever saw as a kid growing up and is the reason I'm a Raider fan. So, it's hard to hate the guy, and I do think he got a bit of a raw deal.. but playing for the Chefs was bullshit and I DO hold that against him.

8. Where do our division rivals rank on your personal hate-o-meter.

Denver Broncos are the worst. Chefs used to be close, but I dunno.. my hate for them post-Schittenheimer is much lower than it used to be. I've never really cared about the Chargers one way or another and back when the Seahawks were in the division.. I think we ALL could have given two shits.

9. What kind of stuff do you like to do in your spare time?

Currently a full time student, working on my MBA. Also play the guitar some, enjoy flying (have my private ticket) when I have the time, and when I don't, I get into flight simulators.. mostly WWII-era stuff. I dig cooking, reading, movies.. so on, so forth.

10. What is your drink of choice?

I actually drink a lot of water. Used to be a hard core coffee guy. Used to have a thing for Dr. Pepper (still love a good cup of hot Dr. Pep once in a while). Adult beverages? I'm more of a scotch guy, but I like a good microbrew.

11. What other professional or collegiate sports teams do you follow, if any?

Used to follow basketball even more than I do football today as a Lakers fan (Magic, Kareem, et al), then a Suns fan (Barkley), but it's become such a joke of thugball and rediculous non-enforcement of basic fundamental rules that to me, it's no better than WWE. Sports entertainment. I follow baseball passingly, NASCAR, NCAA football.. but other than that, it's NFL all the way.

12. Offense or defense?

Love big hits and shut down defenses.. love power running games. Hard to pick, but if I had to, I guess I'd go defense.

13. What is the single greatest moment you remember witnessing in Raider history?

The Marcus Allen superbowl run has to be at the top, maybe only barely over Bo Jackson's Seattle run.

14. What is the single most disappointing moment you remember witnessing in Raider history?

Tampa Bay.

15. What are your biggest pre-draft whiffs?

Thought Rickey Dudley was a good pickup, hated the Fabian Washington, MUG and Stanford Routt picks (although the jury is still somewhat out, IMO).

16. Yeah, okay... but which ones were you by-God right about?

Janikowski! Picked him to be drafted in the first round and I think he's been a very good performer for us. The best place kicker we've ever had, and certainly at the top of the league now that he's in shape and focused. It may not be a "by-God" I told you so, but I don't think anyone was banging on the TRADE-DOWN drum harder than I was prior to us taking Gallery. Would have much rather of taken Rothlesberger or Taylor. Might thrown in a little Justin Fargas here.. as I've always thought the guy would be a strong performer if we could just keep him healthy.

17. Are you married, attached, or single and what's her deal on football Sundays?

Married! Been with my wife, Michelle, for 10 years now. She's just as crazy of a Raider fan as I am.. so that's absolutely fantastic. She'll make you go deaf in one ear if you sit next to her at the game, that's for sure. On sunday, she's my truck-driver mouth wife. Love her to death.

18. You are granted a bonafide miracle and you've now got the physique, conditioning, and training to man a spot on the field for the Raiders. Which spot do you choose?

Would love to play linebacker. Always wanted to play football growing up, always had a basketball-frame metabolism. Probably too tall to play LB anyway.

19. If you could take one player from any team to make this team better, who are you taking?

That's tough. Hard to argue with the "best LT available" crowd. Just to be different, I'll go with Antonio Gates.

20. With 6 games down and 10 to go, what's your prediction on Oakland's final record?

I say we win at least four of the next 10, finishing 5-11.. but with another 3-4 really close games that we could have won.

Married with two Raider fans… err… daughters.

Peyton Manning.

Although… I’d rather take Alex Gibbs as our line coach.

4-12.

Probably just enough to keep us out of prime draft position.

Turo -- You don't like Vegas?

Nope.

After you've done enough bars, casinos, clubs and shows.. all you're left with is life in the big, flat, brown, hot and windy as fuck wasteland. Ranked #1 in crime rate, top 5 in teenage pregnancy, dead last in education and first by a long ways in transitory residency. No one gives a shit, and no one gives a shit about anyone not giving a shit. You can't go anywhere in this town without seeing slot machines and thereby having to deal with the same guy/gal that looks like they've been bolted to the machine for 30 years as the built-in resident chain smoker (even the grocery store, I'm not bullshitting you).

Basically, unless you're interested in being a permanent tourist, this town has nothing for you to experience other than 50 mph winds, 130 degree summers, the faint stench of stale ashtray wherever you go and the promise of being one of the worst possible places in this country to raise a family.

*shrug*

I've lived here off and on now for about 10 years in my life, and I can say that I'd rather live just about anywhere else.. southcentral L.A. not withstanding, of course.

I'll dress up as alot of things, but never a Chief fan... Not even on Halloween, or free donut giveaways... Sheesh....

Of course I was kidding about that... Obviously, much to the horror of Crow, I was really tommygirl...
