So, as I understand it, we will pick #2 if we go into the offseason with an identicle record as the Lions because of the strength of schedule. That won't change, but if you look at the next four games for each team, it makes me wonder which team has the best chance of winning their games?
Raiders
@ Cincinnati .583
vs RAMS .417
vs CHIEFS .583
@ New York .583
Lions
vs Minnesota .417
@ Green Bay .333
vs Chicago .833
@ Dallas Cowboys .667
The Raiders play four teams that are neither the elite nor the dregs - teams each fighting for a playoff spot (even St. Lois in the NFC West). The first two teams the Lions play are failing and are out of the playoff hunt. How hard will Green Bay and Minnesota play? Chicago will not need a win when they play at home and the Cowboys might not need a win - already up two games with four to go.
Not that I want to lose - it sucks. I watched the Houston game from a luxury box and barely had a good time. But I'm looking for a silver (and black) lining.
