This is the Reggie McKenzie era. People here are still living in the Al Davis "let's get that guy" era.

Those days are done. There's Internet and indoor plumbing and everything.

I would like Treadwell if we're just flailing.

If we're flailing toward a WR in the 1st, Dotson or Coleman would be much better players. Treadwell is Crabtree without the route-running ability.

For me, assuming Ramsey, Elliot, Jack, Bosa and Stanley are gone, and no trade down, the choice comes down to Hargreaves, Lawson or Red's #1 WR. I don't see a DT as good as Star, Richardson or other 1st round DT in years past, but I do see good value at DT in Day 2. And CB, DE and WR are all premium positions where we have a need.

For me it comes down to this:

Would be absolutely positively fucking ecstatic if he miraculously fell to us: Elliott, Jack

Would be confident we got a very good player: Hargreaves, Lawson

Would be a little shocked but very happy: Doctson, Coleman, Nkemdiche

    Wouldn't hate it: Rankins, Conklin

Would be extremely disappointed and would have to take one foot off of the Red bandwagon: Ragland, Apple, Jackson, Alexander, Reed, Robinson

    Its a perfect list Vinny.

I would only add Bullard to my own 'shocked but happy' list.

Also Mack Alexander has climbed back into the 'wouldnt hate it' list for me.

I think Alexander has a spot on our roster. He seems like a smart kid, and could help with some of the smaller fast WR's we face in the division. Sanders, Maclin, Benjamin. Even help with Charles and Woodhead. I wouldn't hate the pick at all and wouldn't be shocked if he was the pick.

Bullard...yeah, forgot about him. I agree.

    I missed a category:

Wouldn't hate it, wouldn't like it but wouldn't have a meltdown: Treadwell and I guess I would move Alexander here. He just does nothing to move the excitement meter.

I seem to have quite a few players that I like, just that kind of draft where it is easy to waffle week to week. Everyone has warts and everyone that should be available at 14 is kinda meh... Seems easier to say who I don't want @14
Floyd, Spence, Reed, Robinson. Or really any of the DT/DE@14 aside from Lawson, Bosa, and Buckner. I am also a fan of Nkemdiche. I know he wants a panther fell out a window blah blah blah. Sounds like a Raider to me.

Not much to dislike about Bullard, including his measurables, which I really like (http://www.mockdraftable.com/player/7062/). A little weird how draftniks don't give him nearly as much love as BR.net.

Took a look at Rankins, man this guy has some hops, especially for a DT (http://www.mockdraftable.com/player/7462/).

Scooby might be the least athletic guy taken on Day 2 (http://www.mockdraftable.com/player/6982/). He barely shows up on the map.

Ok, scratch that. Craves registers even worse (
http://www.mockdraftable.com/player/6662/) albeit at a more athletic position.
