.. and no trade down available without assrape..
who do you want?
Ouch with no trade?
Brain says go safe and take Ferrell. Oliver is probably the proper pick though. I don't think we would do it.
A trade for Haskins/Murray would have to be offered by someone lol.
My heart says take the swing at Burns or Sweat though...
EDIT: I could be convinced relatively easily to take Kyler Murray at 4 as well...
Your rankings say you take Oliver... BAP
Yessir. I may have read it wrong?
I really don't think Mayock/Gruden would take Oliver so I've kinda just accepted that.
Draft Kyler Murray
Kyler if I’m able to unload David.
I take Sweat and look to add a 2nd de at the end of the round .
Haskins at #4.
At that point, two plus players still on the board. I'd take Ferrell over Oliver though I'd be good with either.
The way it's looking though, this scenario looks unlikely.
No use fretting over a scenario 90% likely not to happen
Where do we rank Ferrell in comparison to Chubb last year?
For me? Slightly lower. Chubb would definitely get taken first. Ferrell isn't far behind. Ferrell is a top 8 player to me. Chubb was a top 4 guy.
This going to be one hell of a draft to look back on in a few years.
Every draft is big but this one will define the future of the franchise. I think it's fair to say that this is the biggest draft we've ever had. We all but conceded last season to put ourselves in this position. If we hit on most picks we could set things up for Gruden's tenure here and have a competitive roster to go along with, at least in my opinion, very good coaching. If we miss we're going to be scratching and clawing to put together even mediocre rosters the next 3 years at minimum.
My biggest fear is Cable. I don't trust him to get the most out of anyone along our OL.
Quite possibly the biggest mistake we've made w/ Gruden was bringing in Cable.
Sounds like Kyler Murray is still on the board. There ya go.
Otherwise, take Oliver.
I maybe understand why people are sleeping on Ferrell, but not on Oliver. To me, Ferrell brings more to the table as a player and a leader, but not by a lot. With Bosa's injury issues and Allen's one year resume, Ferrell and Oliver would be solid picks. (And I'd look at Oliver as both 3-tech and strong side DE.)
This draft is, or ought to be, unfuckable.
How long has "ought to be" been our bugaboo?
Oliver. If we are uncertain on his fit, Burns. Id be ok with white based on pure potential. After that ferrell. But those are all sub optimal. Someone will want to jump the gints for "their qb".
