Sits for the 1st year then takes over the following year. I'm excited for this pick.
At this point we're likely going to see a lot of Arnette/Johnson/Robertson alongside Mullen this year.I suspect he'll get some work in dime packages at a minimum this year.
He has to jump Lawson, a steady, reliable but not very good vet. And Joyner, an expensive formally good player apparently playing out of position, yet we don’t care to move him. Both will be celebrated but neither will come easy.Sits for the 1st year then takes over the following year. I'm excited for this pick.

It would be great to trade Joyner off. He's not being used properly and sucking as a CB, plus it would get between $5.5-8MM back in space for use elsewhere.Joyner, Randall, Robertson . . . may the best two win . . . if Joyner’s not traded.

I also don't see the Raiders dumping him after 2 offseasons of pumping him up. The amount of praise he gets from the coaching staff and Mayock after signing him 14 months ago is not in line with a guy who is at risk of an early exit.I just don't see anyone trading for that salary coming off a shit season. Let him compete at his natural FS position.

fuck you Guenther.I was actually excited about this signing at the time. What a horrible use of a guy playing outside his normal position.
fuck you Guenther.
G Fisher’ed Joyner when we wished he was Phillip’d. Here is one PFF nailed. At the time PFF said Joyner graded very well as a FS, but not so well as a slot CB. Well, no shit.I was actually excited about this signing at the time. What a horrible use of a guy playing outside his normal position.

Marinelli is DC in waiting. If defense falters, Guenther is outReally have my reservations that he is going to be able to coach up all these new faces. On paper we look much improved but this guy hasn’t shown me anything since he got the DC gig.

Hopefully G steps up. We need a simplified plan on the outside with all the new moving parts on D, so that the D can play fast. But didn’t I read or hear that he doesn’t want a DC position anymore? He’s 70 years old. For a stop gap maybe but doubt he’s a long term solution.
He’s 5’8.3”. Mayock’s being generous.Mayock on Robertson on Sirius...
"We didn't think Robertson would be sitting there.
"Tough, smart
He's pissed off since he's 5'9''
Competes, always around the ball. Tough kid."
