I am not sure if I am the guy that you folks would love to trust when it comes to gambling on what football pick to bet on. I have stunk all season so I am not a guy you want to trust. Still, I can give you some reference so here goes.

Vikings/Panthers: Vikings are coming off a great win, but can they build on it. It's going to be tough. Carolina is pretty darn good especially defensively. Carolina's D will be a lot tougher than Green Bay's D so Daunte will be on his toes. We will see if Daunte and the OL are up to it. I gotta go with Carolina. John Fox always seem to have success against the Vikings offense and the fact the Vikings still stink outdoors is the reason why I am picking the Panthers. Pick: Panthers

Cardinals/Cowboys: Well Arizona got their offense going with Josh McCown at QB and they played well against the Titans last week. Still, I need to see a lot more before I jumped back on the Cards bandwagon. Dallas will not be in a great mood after a terrible loss to Seattle in which they led till they blew the lead. I think the Cowboys will do well at home against the Cards. Pick: Cowboys

Bears/Lions: Bears are looking good right now. They might be the best team in the division by default. Their defense is good and Kyle Orton has been solid. Lions did well with Jeff Garcia at QB, but I think Chicago's D will give Garcia a hard time. I like the Bears chances. Pick: Da Bears

Browns/Texans: Texans still stink. I think Dilfer lights it up against that defense. Pick: Browns

Packers/Bengals: Carson Palmer will salivate against the Packers swiss chesse defense. Pick: Bengals

Jaguars/Rams: Jamie Martin may have had his way against a bad Saints team, but he is not going to get away with it against a very good defensive team in the Jags. Pick: Jaguars

Raiders/Titans: I think the Titans have enough to beat the Raiders. Pick: Titans

Redskins/Giants: Emotions will run high this Sunday for the Giants as they will play with a heavy heart for the late Wellington Mara, who passed away couple of days ago. The fact the game is at home and the fact it will be a very emotional game, I think the Giants will pull it out. Pick: Giants

Chiefs/Chargers: Look for offensive fest between both clubs as both QBs light it up. I will go with the Chargers because Brees will have a better opportunity to light it up even more against that Chiefs D. Pick: Chargers

Dolphins/Saints: Saints are right now lost and Brooks just stink. Pick: Phins

Eagles/Broncos. This should be a good one. Denver has been pretty good especially at home. Still, I gotta go with Philly here. Their defense will give Jake hard time and that will be the difference. I think McNabb has enough to overcome Denver's D. Pick: Eagles

Bucs/Niners: Bucs D will continue to give growing pains for Alex Smith. Pick: Bucs

Bills/Pats: Pats D will harass Holcomb all night. Pick: Pats

Ravens/Steelers: Steelers in a blowout. Ravens stink. Pick: Steelers

Nice content there TiceMustGo...I wish we had more members here to get into a better dicussion.

As for the Raiders/Titans, I think it really depends on which Raiders team shows up. Kerry Collins was on his game last week and the Raiders rolled. I believe the Raiders will run the ball well against Tennessee. To me that would mean a win but the Raiders have had very little success in that stadium and McNair has been a Raider Killa trougout his carreer (x the AFC Champ game three years ago. Cpould be entertaining.

The pick? I don't like it reverse it! :p

Kansas City/San Diego: I like the Chargers as well. They have to be the best team in the league with four losses. Being at home makes them a winner IMO.

I am glad you like what I wrote, Tester.

What we need here is Lynch and his buddy, patriot. He can lighten things up just by his presence. :)

Seriously if we can foster good discussion, eventually everyone will come. There is this Raiders fan I know at MNSportsCentral.com. I will see if I can convince him to come here.

Give it time.

I don't believe in teams doing well on cross-country trips unless that team is very very good like the Eagles or the Patriots hence why I went with the Raiders.

As for KC, I think they are a good team, but their defense just continues to bother me. I just don't trust em. They had no business losing to Philly at home when they had a big lead. Great teams just don't do that. They have rebounded well, but I have my doubts. We will see what happens with them. I like to see them do well mainly because of Dick Vermeil (God I wish he coach the Vikings)

Very nice take bro!

You think Vermeil will come back next season? I would love to see him coach the Purple. I know Zygi Wilf spent lot of time talking pigskin with Mr. Vermeil when the Chiefs came to the Twin Cities in the exhibition season. I would love to see Wilf do everything possible to get that man even if the Vikings don't have a shot. Zygi must dream big this season. My dream would be Scott Pioli as GM and Vermeil as head coach.

Seriously man I think Kansas City is Dick's last stop.

Obviously he wants to go out with a ring but hell I just don't. An awfully lot of things have to fall in place for the Chiefs to win it all this year.

I don't think Vermeil is up to the task of trying to rebuild/rejuvenate the Vikings. That's for a younger man IMO.

I think Vermeil is a special coach. He is the type of guy that could handle the task. Besides the Vikings are not that far away. They got the pieces in place. Their draft picks have been fine for the most part. What this team needs is a very good coach and they will be off.
