The Oakland Raiders ' official team Web site, Raiders.com, has made some major upgrades over the past half-year.
You can now print pictures of your favorite ex-Raiders (i.e. Grant Irons) and color them with the crayons of your choice. You can check the weekly blogs to see if third-year safety Stuart Schweigert has finally got his kitchen re-tiled. Or, if you so desire, you can take a look at the extensive team roster to study the grossly overestimated heights and weights of players currently on the team. It's a one-stop path to hours of fun.
Perhaps the most useful, practical and journalist-friendly aspect of the site, though, has been removed since its major upgrade.

The team's official depth chart no longer exists. At least not for the public eye.
If you remember, it was around this time last offseason that the ole' reliable Raiders.com depth chart was the talk of the town. The controversial grid box listed Alvis Whitted as the team's second go-to guy at wide receiver; it placed a blank box ahead of fellow wideout Jerry Porter's name, making him the team's sixth receiver; and it positioned safety Derrick Gibson ahead of then-first-round rookie Michael Huff.

Seventeen weeks and 14 losses later, only the Gibson-Huff blunder was fixed. Whitted was still No. 2, and Porter was still being outperformed by a box of air.
Unfortunately, the excitement from the Art Shell depth chart era no longer exists.
Fans are left with just a new coach, a strong-armed rookie quarterback and an overhauled offense.

Because Raiders.com is seemingly content with posting no depth chart for fans to criticize, here is Oakland's unofficial 53-man depth chart for the 2007 season:
