The Not Too Early 2016 Draft Thread

I'm from MS, so just assume racist.

I have a new #1 on my nonexistent draft board.

Ole Miss junior tackle Laremy Tunsil was arrested Friday in Oxford, Mississippi, on charges of domestic violence against his stepfather.

Tunsil was at his mother's house with his mother, Desiree Tunsil, and her husband, Lindsey Miller, Tunsil's stepfather, when the incident occurred Thursday. Tunsil and his mother have since pressed charges against the stepfather, Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze said.

"His stepfather shoved his mom and Laremy punched him," a source said. "It's as simple as that. He was defending his mother."

USC redshirt junior OT Zach Banner "is a masher who drives more defenders into the turf than any offensive lineman I studied this offseason," notes NFL Media draft analyst Lance Zierlein.

"Banner uses all 360 pounds on his 6-foot-9 frame to jolt, tilt and bury his opponents," Zierlein wrote. "Few Pac-12 defenders will be able to consistently deal with his power if his technique is right, and scouts rave about his personal character." Zierlein ranks Banner as the No. 6 offensive lineman in the country. "Banner is a bit of a plodding shuffler in pass protection, so that is the one area where he must work to improve in order to reach his true potential," Zierlein wrote. "However, most pass rushers are finished when he gets his hands on them."

Texas A&M redshirt junior T Germain Ifedi "can still improve his anchor, but he appears to have fewer holes right now than [Cedric] Ogbuehi had at this same stage," notes NFL Media draft analyst Lance Zierlein.

"Texas A&M has cranked out first-round tackles for three consecutive seasons and it wouldn't shock me to see Ifedi become the fourth," Zierlein wrote. "While he might be flying under the radar for some, I promise you scouts are not sleeping on this talented tackle prospect who has shifted from guard to right tackle and now to left tackle." Zierlein ranks the 6-foot-5, 320-pound Ifedi as the No. 3 offensive lineman in the country. "Ifedi has better hands than Cedric Ogbuehi and nearly the same feet," Zierlein wrote. "His initial kick-slide gains substantial ground helping to cut off edge rushers, and his change of direction helps to pick up inside moves."

Have any of those LTs actually done anything in the league?

I don't know if Jonathan Odgen is a good comparison, but that's what my mind jumped to.

Banner and Jackson on the left side, if we're lucky Latavious turns out to be all you could ever hope for. That would be nuts.

Probably need him to shed some weight to maximize his pass pro ability, but I'm all about some OL that can move the line of scrimmage like imminent domain.

You mean the stock that hasn't even happened yet? The very worst stock to have when punching a woman, ON VIDEO?

Yeah, he's gonna hafta go post-rape accusation Kobe, rainbowing TDs for a couple seasons to live this down.

Bars are for morons and communicable diseases.
There's a bar in Zephyr Cove, Nevada (Lake Tahoe, near South Shore), called Sam's Place. We've been buying pizza there since I was a kid. And every time I go in there, there's loaded drunks at the bar, enjoying the day. Always wondered if they got a local discount or happy hour prices (all the time). Just couldn't imagine paying well drink prices all day.

I like that little dude from Temple as a reserve LB/ST'er you need those kind of guys for depth. The little bastard plays 100% every snap.
