Thought we could use a thread like this. (Even though it's doomed to devolve into the debate without end: "Marcus Allen—Saint or Subhuman?")

But mainly wanted a place to continue my unabashed admiration of Chris Kluwe...

...Love that guy like Peter King loves Brett Farve. (Well, okay, without the rimming part.)

Yeah, I saw this too and thought it was pretty cool.

When I saw he'd been fined I thought 'bet you Al would have paid it for him too if he'd been around'.

It's OK. You don't have to deny it. We will respect you anyway...

Where's Bones with his usual "You're a PUNTER. STFU." post?

I am also suffering from a big mancrush on Kluwe...but I still say that the biggest snub for us has got to be Cliff Branch.

Especially with Lynn Swann's sorry, over-rated ass in there...

For all the weight they give team success (titles) when considering guys for the Hall, Branch's exclusion is truly puzzling.

Did anyone ever offer an explanation as to why he doesn't deserve induction?

I wonder if there's many/any starting skill-position players (besides Branch) that have won 3 Super Bowls & still arent in the HOF...

I'm still trying to figure out how Kevin Greene isn't rocking the ugly jacket. Never was a Raider, but damn he was fun to watch.

For the rest of the season, I want the coaching staff to put Jano out on thr field to try 65+ yard FGs.Doesn't matter the down, just have him kick it. With any luck, he'll nail one for the record books, & maybe in 10 years Seabass will be a HOFer :p

Yeah, kinda bummed me out that, when the Raiders had the ball in position for Janikowski to try a 65-yarder at the end of the 1st half in the Browns game, DA had them run a play for a 4 yard pick-up. Jano missed from 61, but I bet the fact that he was steamed at not getting his shot from 65 was a contributing factor.

Those situations don't come up that frequently, gotta jump on them.

    STABLER Greatest Snub

Kenny Stabler should have been in the HOF along time ago. He is black balled by the sports writers, especially Zimmerman. Zimmerman has publicly stated that he would never vote for Stabler. I watched a lot of QB's play throughout the years. He was one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game. He had ice in his veins and the bigger the game the better he played. That's why the HOF is a joke and a sham. Cliff Branch should also be in the HOF.

It's not so much the HOF is a sham but that the D bags voting on it are.

They should have spots for special teamers. If you are the best punter/kicker ever... you should get in.

There is only one sham that is worst than the Pro Football Hall of fame. Wait for it...

The Major League Baseball Hall of Fame.

Not that is a total mess. Kinda like the Oaklnd Raiders organization, eh?

That'll get even worse once they start voting the Roid-heads in.

Hall of Fame is basically the history of the league. Not voting in great players for perceived wrongs is rewriting history and therefore stupid.
