Another blowout win was expecting a closer game coming off an emotional ass whupping of OKC. Dubs are getting their mojo back just in time for the stretch run. If they can get another game or two up on SA, it's going to be very difficult for the Spurs to make up. Would be hysterical if they rest the starters again going into the back to back with Hou and SA.

If Dubs keep playing defense like they have been, going to be nearly impossible to beat them especially with KD coming back.
 
I think Leonard is a fantastic player. Love athletes who give effort on defense. With that said, Harden or Westbrook should be MVP.

Leonard has more than a few numbers below his own career average. The media just fucking LOVES hanging off his balls for some reason? Again, top 5 player with that defense, but not MVP tho year by any stretch even adding in the defense IMO

Lebron doesnt deserve it either, great year for him. Better year for Harden & Westbrook. Both their teams are in the playoffs and garbage without them. Cavs still make the playoffs without Bron. What.

I probably underestimated Leonard offensively but I'm still not convinced he will be as effective on that end once the playoffs start.

He still reminds me of Antawn Jamison on offense.

Regarding MVP... there's no way I give it to Westbrook. Dude is just a stat whore who's fortunate to play in a situation where him averaging a triple double is a organizational goal. He's last in the league in contested FGs and I believe leads the league in uncontested rebounds. Basically, he's leaving his man unguarded so he can be in position to grab easy rebounds and his team is boxing everyone else out so he can do it. I haven't looked lately but for most of the year his actual contested rebound rate was almost identical to last season. His assist numbers are inflated by an extremely high usage rate and the NBA overall is getting overly liberal with awarding assists (even as it applies to the Dubs).

TL;DR - fuck that guy with a broom stick.

I think I've brought this up before, Draymon leads Leonard in every major category except scoring. He's probably deserving of some MVP votes but probably won't see any. He really brings the toughness to the Dubs that you need come playoff time. Overshadowed by the other Big 3 but probably the guy you least want to lose.
 
Griz are a pain in the Dubs ass. No one seems to be able to guard Randolph. Splash Bros. came up big in crunch time. Rough stretch of games coming up. Would be happy with a split in Texas.

Heard that KD was dunking the ball in practice and they hope to bring him back for the past few games to ramp him up for the playoffs.

No shit. Grind house is about as appropriate a nickname as it gets. I kinda respect the way they stay relevant with no real superstar.

I really hope the standings stay as is with us at 1 and Memphis at 7 so them, SA, and Houston all have to beat each other up for the opportunity to play us. Dropping to 2 makes us have to go through the Grizz, Houston, and then SA to make it through the finals. Portland, Clippers/Utah, and SA sounds much more appealing.

Although Portland is capable of giving us a tough series as they have been playing better of late. Much rather face them than the Griz though

Cavs-Celts ECF all but guaranteed. Question is if LeBron can crank it up to 11 to get them in the finals yet again.
