The Del Rio, Pagano & Norton Thread

Well Nelson is a liability and those guys aren't going to get better standing on the sideline... Obi was a 2nd rounder, aren't those players supposed to go in and produce year 1? If he's not ready then Reggie dun fucked up...

Ehh... I'm sure the injury has pushed him back quite a bit. He wasn't bad, but he's not ready to take over for Nelson IMO. That bomb over his head though...

Now they may be able to have Luani take over for Joseph and slide Joseph over to Nelsons spot, but it might make things worse. Joseph is always lined up on the right side and Nelson is always on the left (from QB perslective) only time that changes is if either is in single high. Even then they guy playing up is on his side.

I'm not sure having Luani or Joseph play opposite field is a good call while in the playoff hunt.

Denver beating us twice this year would have been far worse... Only because they suck so bad.
Let's look at the positive side... sweeping the chefs this year would be awfully sweet especially after how those fat ugly chef fans thought they had the league by the balls when they were 5-0 and beat both the Patriots and Eagles. This week could be a perfect conclusion to that crash n burn act. Might even send fat Andy completely over the edge.

... or from being a gay Dodgers fan.

Kinda redundant, no? Like saying a stupid idiot...

Fuck ya'll

Well, I was just saying something about Carrie being not that good. I also said McDonald may be serviceable.

#Raiders CB TJ Carrie has forced an incompletion on just 9.5% of his targets this season, which ranks 83rd among the 109 CBs with 200+ coverage snaps this season.

Dexter McDonald leads the team at 16.1% (No. 47).

#Raiders CB Dexter McDonald leads the team in pass-breakups with 6 this season, yet 35 other NFL CBs have more PBUs than McDonald.

Adding further perspective, OAK's top-three CBs have 13 PBUs combined, which would rank T-No. 3 on the list.

Ouch!

yeah we don't need any corners.

We need a corner big-time. Although Smith has been playing better. He's not going to be worth the money he's due to receive. With Smith he just doesn't have the make up speed. If he gets in stride he's good to go most of the time. Either way, I'd say he's our best corner right now, and that's not good. Although what I have seen of McDonald has been encouraging..

I'm almost scared of Amerson coming back. He looked like ass on go routes and honestly overall. I hope he comes back a changed man, because what was on tape earlier this year was total shit.

As far as Carrie goes, I'm just not a fan.
