Cleve traded the midget and Frye to the Fakers for Clarkson and Nance Jr.
I think he was going to go back down there eventually any way. Need to bring Cook up and give him some minutes. Hopefully the Dubs can re-set after the AS break
The Cavs are absolutely embarrassing themselves since last years finals.
You gave Kyrie to the #1 East rival and made them SO much better. Got very little in return (seems like just the high 1st pick)
You now trade IT while his value is at an all time low. And trade him to the team trying to clear space for Lebron this summer.
But hey... 3-1 Cleveland fans. You'll always have that to chew on while you starve during the NBA playoffs. hahahah I almost feel s sorry for them.
Im worried about this shit effort and lack of focus.
Id rather have this squad heading into the playoffs than any other team. I fully expect them to turn it on bigtime after the all star break. Remember when they hustled and played hard all year last? It was when they got gassed and lost the finals. Maybe they are being careful not too make the same mistake and just going to far. They are def in 1st half of the season mode. I dont think they forgot how to play or anything. Just not playing at full force, which is also disheartening.
Damn, Cleveland just revamped their entire roster. Not sure how it's will come together but their better on paper.
I would have liked to see us do something small just to add a guy that is hungry to be part of a championship into the rotation. At least it doesn't look like any of our Western Conference rivals are doing anything either. Although, that just means they aren't scared of us anymore. Looking forward to seeing how we perform post All Star break.
Dubs have played almost a seasons worth of extra games the past 4 years, not even counting the Olympics. MJ took a year off to recoup from a similar run. It's understandable that they're burnt which is why I think this is a make it or break it year in terms of finals runs.
We're spoiled I guess... I never missed a game when we were running guys like Earl Boynkins out there but now that we have the best team in the world I find myself changing the channel when they're out there half-assing things.
Almost wish that our big 4 wasn’t playing in the AS game so they could rest a few days.
Yah would have been nice to pick up the black Irishman from the Celts for some more beef upfront. All these stupid turnovers and lack of intensity needs to stop.
Dude, NBA officiating is just trash now. I’m not even talking about the Dubs specifically. Watching this game and calls are getting blown biloth ways way to frequently.
On another note, Javale comes in and instant impact again. Kerr confuses me.
Javale jump started the team in the second half. I don’t get it either
ESPNs obsession with Paul Pierce is getting nauseating.
National game tonight, I think I'll watch. Then again they seem to suck balls when I watch so maybe I shouldn't.
Against the Suns. We don’t beat them and it’s panic time.
I don't see us losing tonight.
forgot we were playing, got caught up watching snowboarding. Whoop dey ass...
I like the idea to let the players coach. They took it seriously and played lights out.
Zaza deserves a shout out. We know his issues, but he def has his good moments too. Setting great screens all year. Passing well for a big man. He looked hyped tonight. McGee may have breathed some life into him. He is playing well too.
Bell is coming back soon. McCaw building some confidence.
They just gotta stay healthy and crank up the defense slowly
I've never seen a guy as big as ZaZa be such a puss going to the rack lol. I swear I think I can jump higher than him. Like to see Magoo get more minutes. He just makes things happen every time he is in the lineup. That one block last night was sick.
Honestly I don't think Kerr cares all that much about the #1 seed. Dubs haven't been dominate at home like they used to be. He just wants to make sure guys are well rested and won't burn out in the playoffs. I'll start worrying when they lose games down the home stretch. There's still a lot of season left.
Kerr is taking a lot of flak for apparently disrespecting the Suns by that move. I don't see it that way but it's mildly concerning that he has to resort to gimmicks to get his message across. That's on the players more so than him IMO but concerning none the less.
Regarding the players, I'm not reading too much into beating Phoenix.
Jordan Bell can't come back quick enough though...
If Phoenix doesn't like it they could always stop sucking so much ass anytime. I have trouble feeling sorry for million dollar athletes and coaches who produce very little little results. They'll be fine. Maybe they needed a life lesson about how not close to the Warriors they are. If the coaching moves makes sense (def engaged the players) who cares about the other teams feeling's really?
Also, this is a group that has been to the finals 3 straight years. We can get on them for losing 13 games with some poor energy and defense. But in all honestly this isn't the worst "championship hangover" - the team added a ton of new faces to the rotation this year in Casspi, Young, Bell, Looney... McCaw, Liv, AI2 have all regressed.
I really do think they will pull it together once the playoffs approach. OKC and Houston talk MAD shit too. I expect them to fire up the Warriors and get themselves castrated. The Warriors defense is going to be nasty as hell with Dray, Klay, KD & Bell in there playing full tilt.
That KD & Curry pick and roll will be borderline unstoppable. We will see Draymond at C again way more. Im sure Kerr is saving plenty of wrinkles for the playoffs. Letting the players coach is also a good way to see how they think and what they wanna do. I loved that move even to it spurns the Suns entire life.
I don't feel particularly sorry for Phoenix but that lack of sympathy for million dollar athletes goes both ways. The Dubs are making $60m more collectively than the Suns, they shouldn’t need this much prompting to respond. I get that there’s going to be lapses here and there but Kerr flat out said that they’ve tuned him out. I’m just not really digging the players blasé attitude right now.
It’s all whatever though if they show they can flip the switch when needed.
Damn... two games in and this new Cleveland squad might be the douchiest group I’ve ever seen.
Meaning what? "Just win baby"?
