Team Bridgewater Official HQ

Yea, cause we all know mama knows wtf high school kids are going to do concerning football....not those high school football "associates" of the program that regularly get kickbacks from universities to funnel kids to their school. You're out of your depth here, son. Take the L and walk away because you don't know wtf you're talking a bout on this one.

Wait a minute, Louisville is kicking back money to "associates" to land top recruits then?

I thought Bridgewater was getting it done with no supporting cast?

You cant have it both ways. Why does the number 2 dual threat QB in the nation end up at Louisville anyhow?

Because he didnt want to face any competition... that's the rumors out there anyhow, he selected his landing spot based on how little competition he would face.

Rumors galore have been circling about Bridgewater's recruitment lately. Things like his interest in LSU, or that he was going to switch his pledge after freshman Stephen Morris emerged as the Hurricanes new starter.

I'll give you a perfect example of what I'm talking about. There was a recruit that Miami was supposed to get in last year's class but the high school coach is getting kickbacks from Arkansas' HC. There were articles written from everywhere under the sun on why he switched commitments to Arkansas, with similar bullshit about not wanting to wait in line, feeling the offense was a better fit, the parents are quoted, but the real reason he switched schools is because his high school coach is in with Brett Bielma. I know that because it's all over the neighborhoods down there how much he got paid, what they did for him, etc. But that won't show up in any articles with quotes on the record, Bill.

What does this have to do with Teddy Toothpick? Why did such a highly regarded prospect choose to play in a bullshit conference?

And if Louisville is paying players, then what gives? The surrounding talent must be better than you give credit for.

You're really going to compare us being a 3 point home underdog, to UCF being a 17.5 road underdog?

That depends. Are you really honestly able to watch both of those videos and day that Bortles is better than TB? C'mon man...you ain't that stupid.

Heres Common opponents, tell me again how UCF had a better defense... dummy

FIU, both teams shut them out

Temple, LV allowed 7, UCF allowed 36
Rutgers LV allowed 10 UCF allowed 17
USF LV allowed 3 UCF allowed 20
Connecticut LV allowed 10 UCF allowed 17
Houston LV allowed 13 UCF allowed 14
Memphis, both allowed 17

That depends. Are you really honestly able to watch both of those videos and day that Bortles is better than TB? C'mon man...you ain't that stupid.

Show me where I said that. Bortles WILL be the best QB of the bunch but this thread was about Bridgewater and his propensity to come up small.

You really are dumb....I said those associates know more about the players and where they're going and why than their families do. Where did I ever say shit about anybody giving Louisville kickbacks...I used the kid....Collins "5 star" RB from last year's recruiting class as an example of you hearing what articles said as opposed to what actually is going on because everybody knows Bret Bielma has his high school coach on his payroll. With TB, all of those kids decommitted because of Randy getting beamed up, end of discussion. TB started "looking around" when UM wouldn't give Randy an extension, Bill. I heard that bullshit that whole year leading up to the last year he had..."he can't recruit because these kids don't know if the U is committed to him, blah, blah, blah." Randy is a hometown dude and is deep in those hoods...still used to kick in the hood in between coaching the team. They are loyal to him, and the football structure is that you go through the high school coaches before you get to the players, not their mama, dummy. Golden still doesn't have all those guys on board down there with alot of them talking shit when he's out of earshot. Trying to tell you, that's all those people in the hood in Miami talk about is this football team, the Dolphins, and now the Heat because they're winning. You just sound stupid trying to argue with me about some shit I have firsthand knowledge about.
You can pull up a million articles from back then but I know this because I know people directly involved and around the kids, dude. But you keep on that "he was scared of competition" tip. You sound stupid.

UCF hung 38 on Louisville in their 7th game. Their first 6 opponents combined scored 44.

What the fuck does any of that have to do with Bridgewater, direct quotes from Bridgewater and his mother who'm he wanted to stay close to while she recovered from cancer?

These "associates" know more than the guy himself?

So how did he get funneled to Louisville... why did he go there? He could have gone anywhere, but he chose Louisville? All signs point to him having no competition there unlike the other situations he was looking at.

There was competition at Miami
He was looking at LSU until Mettenberger ran him off.

You sure about that?

Said the stupid motherfucker that believes Louisville was worse top to bottom despite having more NFL prospects, being a 17.5 point favorite, being ranked higher, etc etc.

Who also believes that UCF had a better defense despite them showing equal to or worse in every singe game vs a common opponent.

That litte fag was scared of competition... artifically manipulated his water weight to be 200 lbs at the combine, then cut it back down to run faster at his pro day, where he shit the bed.

Blah, blah, blah. You still haven't spoken anything but some more nuggets out of your ass, so please proceed.

When it's all done, Bridgewater might be the best QB out of this draft class

A few things that I've noticed being brought up:

- TB didn't come up small against UCF. He put up 30+ points and drove down to score a TD and give his team the TD late. I keep hearing about this 3rd quarter where his defense gave up 21 points because of his two 3-and-outs. You know Andrew Luck had some 3 and outs too and actually lost more games than TB in college. Does that mean he came up small?

- UCF being 17 point underdogs vs Louisville: UCF came in with 1 loss and having beat nobody (unless you count penn st), were on the road against an undefeated team with arguably the best QB in the country. No shit UCF was gonna be heavy underdogs at the time. Don't play dumb. Nobody expected UCF to be a BCS bowl winning team. They're spread vs Louisville doesn't mean they are devoid of talent.

- the UCF vs Temple game. We get it, they gave up 36 points. How many of those points allowed fall on Bortles? Did he have 0 turnovers and zero 3-and-outs?

- they had a lot of common opponents considering they were in the same conference. TB threw for more yards, TDs and less INTs. I'll take those AND two 3rd quarter 3-and-outs vs UCF over Bortles' worse stats and identical record

- Finally, and probably most importantly, stop acting like UCF is a horrible team. They won a fucking BCS bowl game. The BCS era is done and my school never even played in one. Winning a major bowl is a huge accomplishment that shitty teams don't just fall into. Even if they do come from a pussy ass conference.
