NON-POLITICAL Random Thoughts

Late stage capitalism
Meh. If the cowling goes down the intake I'd be freaking out. This panel departed away from the engine. Maybe it hits the elevator or rudder before it fludders to the ground.

If mechanics had more time between flights, this might not be a growing issue. Capitalist greed indeed....

Yeah WTF is going on?

One driver was struck by glass fragments from her window, with a bullet also grazing his arm, after Celestine fired multiple shots into his vehicle as it passed her purple Dodge Challenger. Despite this, he was able to steer his vehicle onto the shoulder of I-10 and away from Celestine.

Celestine would continue westbound on I-10, where she would then shoot into another vehicle, resulted in that driver being struck in the neck.

The first victim was cleared and released, while the second was transported to a nearby hospital and is currently receiving treatment for their neck wound and any additional injuries.

That’s a nice area. Too close to metro Charlotte for me. But a nice area nonetheless.

The wife seems onboard with moving back to Asheville NC. Had a great weekend there with the kids. My kid was mesmerized by downtown Asheville. He liked all the people playing music and drum circles and normal Asheville hippy shit. Took him to the river arts district and he is definitely gonna be into hippy chicks.
My home is 45 minutes from Charlotte airport. So not that close to the city.

@Darkenblot, which did you watch?

I did not watch a single March Madness game this year.

I watched the men's game because it was Monday night and there were no athletic events.

I didn't watch the women's game because I was working softball. The best women's sport. :)

@Solve4X I blame you for this.

If you are circling 600 feet above the ground and flying like a bird, contact the National Weather Service to determine whether or not it's a tornado.

That's depot maintenace stuff really. I'm not sure it's realistic to catch something like that on a pre-flight inspection unless it's visually obvious.

Kinda like the insurance companies refusing people's claims after Katrina because it wasn't the wind that fucked everything up. It was the storm surge, and their policies didn't cover flood damage.

Storm surge is caused by the wind, but that was apparently irrelevant, somehow.

Class action lawsuits, settlements, yada yada, and the Five Families, I mean the insurance companies still got away with murder.

State Farm's attempt to defraud the federal government on top of everything else earned them an additional slap on the wrist. Only a hundred million.

Organized crime is thriving.
Yes insurance companies suck. But all my insurance is through these bastards. Home flood and car. Because of the proximity to the Sacramento river and the flood plain blah blah blah I have to carry it on my house. It's not too much.

At least with a government underwritten policy the government gets screwed. Not the homeowners. Shitty as it is.

I'm a little skeptical of college loans underwritten by the government too. But it hasn't been a problem so far.

I would love to live in Asheville. Kind, accepting people with a chill vibe. Probably similar to Woodstock and Kingston NY where my son lives.
