Dude had some great songs. Finally cashed in his ticket to Paradise.
Saw him years ago.
shame... saw him a couple times, seemed like a good dude and have heard that from musicians I know that have worked with him.
I know musicians who worked with Ray Charles who said he was a total piece of shit.
I think that’s pretty well documented actually
Well, he was a Raider fan.
Great musician. Also just a good guy. Blue collar dude in the music business.
“Take me home tonight
I don't want to let you go till you see the light“
You were taken home Eddie and were brought into the light. RIP

Week 16 Anthem Performance: Eddie Money
Eddie Money performed the National Anthem prior to the Raiders vs. Chargers game.
Esophageal Cancer - That had to suck for him. Two Tickets to Paradise is one of my favorites. Me and my buddy hooked up with some girls in the restaurant we worked in back in 78 when I was a busboy. They were big time Eddie Money fans. We went back to their house for some after work activities. My girl kept singing that song. It was all good till she saw her dad's car coming up the driveway. We scrambled out a window and hauled ass. Never saw them again. I think about that night every time I hear that song.
Always loved his music. Will be missed.
Shit. Now Ric Ocasek has passed. I'm feeling old...
Cars were one of those groups I secretly liked.
Them and Tom Petty.
Just weird enough that it seemed like they were sneaking something past the mainstream.
sneaky good guitar player too
Cars bridged 70s rock into the 80s. RIP Rick Ocasek
Cars were a supergroup that really took off in the 80s
Ric and Eddie in the same weekend? Ugh
RIP to both
