On Derek Carr, raiders 2018 draft picks, young building blocks and more.

Where was all this talk when he was a Raider? Unreal.

No NFL player has ever generated 2,000 receiving yards in a single season. If Cowboys receiver Amari Cooperhas his way, that will change in the NFL’s 100th season.

Cooper tells #PFTPM in an interview that will be posted on Monday that his goal for his first full season in Dallas is 2,000 yards.

Cooper on his contract....
While making the interview rounds on Monday, Cooper suggested that’s not his goal. He said on The Dan Patrick Show that he isn’t watching Thomas’s pockets and directly answered a question about being the highest-paid wideout on ESPN.

“Not now. Definitely looking forward to earning that respect and definitely looking forward to coming into this year and just putting up those numbers for my team and really showing what I can do in a full seasonas a Dallas Cowboy,” Cooper said. “I know that I have the skillset to be one of the highest-paid receivers. I’m just all about going out there and proving it.”

If Cooper goes into the season without a new deal in place, there will be a lot riding on what he proves by the end of the year.

Meh... There was big talk in 2017 about coming into the season bigger and stronger and being more consistent from game to game.

Lamont Jordan talked big every off-season too. Never showed he would put in the work to get there though.

My son just said we need to con the browns into a straight up baker for Carr trade.

I told him I wanted what he was on, although a great idea in theory

Settle down. Carr had one good year, too.

Fucking Lamont Jordan. I was all about drafting AP that year. Once we signed Jordan, we all knew it wasn’t going to happen so I got on board. Fucking Lamont Jordan.

For a dude with his size, he was so easy to knock backwards. Fat POS
I remember in his 3rd offseason he was talking about "yeah, I never actually learned the blocking scheme. I am actually going to learn that this year"

I am pretty sure Cooper is bi-polar. This cat has more ups and downs than a bulimic chic visiting a buffet table...
