They should change it to The Washington Football Club.
Snyder is just being dramatic at this point.
Zero fucks for what they name themselves.
What a dick!

Welcome to Jack-town, Coach!
I hope it's more offensive than the Redskins.
Why does the logo have a roll of toilet paper at the top?
Holy shit. Fuck you NFL:
Cliff Branch should have been voted into the NFL Hall of Fame years ago, but the wait continues. According to Hall of Fame voter Rich Gosselin, there is a reason why the wait might not be over anytime soon.
“My concern has less to do with Branch himself, though, than with the team whose colors he wore – the Oakland Raiders. Specifically, the 1970s’ Raiders,” Gosselin wrote for the Talk of Fame Network. “The potential enshrinement of Branch would put 12 Raiders from the 1970s in the Hall. That would match the record number of Hall of Famers from one team — the 1960s’ Green Bay Packers, who went to six NFL championship games in the decade and won five of them, including the first two Super Bowls.”
“Let me repeat,” Gosselin continued. “Branch has Hall-of-Fame credentials. But can you enshrine every starter from a team that managed to reach only one Super Bowl in the entire 1970 decade?”
Branch won 2 SB rings in the 80’s asshole.
I could get behind this rule.
GREG ZUERLEINK, DALLAS COWBOYS
An NFL rule proposal would limit the number of players a receiving team could use in the "setup zone" during onside kick attempts.
The proposal would prohibit teams from having more than nine players in the so-called setup zone, defined as the area between 10 and 25 yards from the kickoff spot. There is no limit on players in the "setup zone" today, and receiving teams have used ten players in the zone 87 percent of the time and 11 players in the zone 13 percent of the time, according to league data. Fewer players in the "setup zone" would mean kicking teams have a slightly better shot at recovering onside attempts. Recovering onside kicks has been made nearly impossible in recent years: After the NFL barred kicking teams from getting a running start on onside attempts, conversion rates fell from 21 percent to 6 percent.
What a mess. Before the scandal, Watson said he would not play again for Hou. Now is that even possible? Would Hou welcome him back? They did say they would not trade him. Is Hou going to lobby for a suspension w/o pay?
DESHAUN WATSONQB, HOUSTON TEXANS
The Houston Police Department has opened an investigation on Deshaun Watson
In addition to the 20 civil lawsuits, a Jane Doe has officially filed a police report on Watson. This allows the police department to investigate the allegations and provides some clarity to Watson's attorney. Both the investigation and the civil disputes are expected to drag out, and the NFL can suspend Watson without a guilty charge or plead. Those in the NFL don't expect Watson to be traded by the NFL Draft, but that's obviously a secondary concern for Watson and his alleged victims. The Houston Police Department said they will not comment on the investigation.

He's had almost as many professional massage therapists speak out on his behalf publicly. They all stated that he never acted inappropriate. They also apparently came forward voluntarily, without the defense lawyer seeking anyone out.
The accusers have all remained anonymous and never went to the police, except for one (which is why Houston PD is finally involved).
The professionals discussed massaging the groin as part of normal therapy for athletes that play that position.
I think one complained about him wanting to rub baby oil on his butt during the session, which was agreed upon before starting.
Some of the accusers complained about him being naked during the session or covering his groin with a towel. Many people are comfortable with being naked for massages and if he's covering his junk, then he's still covered.
A couple of them complained about his penis hitting them. For all we know, he's Long Dong Silver, so things fly when people turn.
I believe only one stated that any actual acts happened, which ended up being oral sex.
All that said, until there's more information or evidence, it's impossible to judge what happened. There is ample evidence that he was completely appropriate and professional with the massage therapists. The complainants apparently were all contacted via Instagram or third parties, and appear to be more of the relaxation than therapy massages.
Time will tell.
Super weird that he’d just rotate therapists like that though if he wasn’t up to something creepy.
I've never been in a position to get massages regularly so I can't speak to that. There's a ring of truth to that argument for sure.
He likes strange . . . when being strange!
I've had to do massage therapy in the past. Granted, mine was completely different from that of a professional athlete. At my chiropractor, there were 2 women that did massage therapy on me, which helped to loosen up my back for the treatment. During PT after surgeries, I got whoever was on that day, but they only focused on the area treated (shoulders and knee).
When I've gone places for regular massages, I got whoever the place assigned to me.
I think the massage therapists said that Watson had been seen something like 130 times (between them all) over a 5 year span.
