I googled his name after I saw the headline(s) on what happened yesterday and was surprised to see his Wikipedia page has a picture of him in a Raider uniform. Hard to remember all of the guys that played on those 4-12 and 3-13 teams. Terrible news nonetheless.
I do remember the name. But I thought he played for the Falcons. He wasn’t with us long I don’t think.
Yeah he was a fringe guy if I recall correctly. And not sure, I could look it up. I haven’t really watched the news in about a year. But I’m getting that vibe like a lot of the country about to go apeshit again.
Sad what happened with Phillip Adams. Yes he was a "starter" for us for a while (injury replacement for 4 games total over 2 years). And yes those were the Dennis Allen years.
He was our CB3 for a lot of games though. Played in 31 total games. Also returned 25 punts for us in 2012. I remember he looked decent in 2012 and had hopes he could be a role player for us... 2 INTs and 5 PDs that year. He was never really all that good overall but he was on the field quite a bit for us back then.
was looking through twitter and it gave a birthday shoutout to "former raider Lito Sheppard". I had to think hard to remember his stint with us.
This is why it's so strange. I remember some of the most obscure players we had in the 80s and 90s, and I have no recollection of him at all considering that he played so much for us. The DA years were really, really bad.
I'm still pretty good with obscure players. It's the "name" players who spent half a season or less with us that I forget. Looking at you DRC
