3. I know OT is not high priority but Cam would instantly provide depth, quality and probably a cheap LT after Penn hangs it up. Him and Howard fight it out for RT.

Left on top of my board: Watt, Taco, Conley.

2nd round: Cunningham, TKO, Obi (although I grew a hardon for E. Jackson, perhaps he's injured, and I thought J. Jones might be a more natural hybrid S. Obi was above them only b/c he's a freak and I thought he'd already be gone).

3rd round: Focused on DT, no way Red could pass on that at this point, I had Adams, Watkins, Vanderdoes.

Red's basically taken the 3rd guy I wanted each round. It doesn't give you a woody, but I'm not going all @Raidervinny either. It's actially a very typical Red draft.

For example, Conley checks all of Red's boxes in terms of how I think Red prioritizes:

1. Cap/roster management: CB is premium position where our top three CB are essentially in contract years.

2. Need/depth: Admit it, no one was happy with the CB play last year. Heck, Carrie might have played best relative to expectations, and he was stuck behind DJ, who's gone. Conley gets a year to compete for playing time, raising the level of competition/play/depth.

3. Value: While I like Watt and Taco, Conley was clearly Brant and Mayock's BPA.

4. Character: team captain; good locker room guy.

5. Risk: Red flags rarely bother Red if the kid checks out.

Because AZ has been way into him too, I've heard a lot about him and how they were the 2 teams who wanted him. They were jumping them. Houston didn't have enough to get up there. He has lots of physical ability, but Reid will have to break him down from scratch. His footwork is attrocious, and obviously that offense doesn't translate even more than other spread offenses, but Reid has expereince with geting Kolb up to speed. It's an ideal situation for him that he can sit until Smith is off the books in 2 or 3 years, and no one is going to question Reid on grooming a QB. Let's just hope he has a heart attack before he can teach him everything he needs, lol.
