NON-POLITICAL Random Shit Thread

Social media is destroying humanity. It used to be you could just ignore an opinion that you didn't agree with. Now you can just bully that opinion into oblivion. If all of social media (Twitter, FB, Insta, Snap, TikTok, et. al.) went blank tomorrow, nothing in my world would be lost. I'd go back to texting, calling, and emailing people. I might even write a letter...

Mallorca was one of the very best places I have ever been. I think maybe I like it better than Amalfi even. Some pics if anyone is interested.

Food looks amazing bro. We want to do Turkey/Greece next year. I just love the Mediterranean in general. Lived in Malta for 2 years when I was a kid.

Greece definitely on my list. Turkey has been but a little hesitant with Erdogan in power.

I wouldn't be too concerned with that. He's been in power 20 years and haven't heard much in the way of negative publicity as far as tourists and safety are concerned. Even though they're predominantly a Muslim country, they're also very westernized. The people are super friendly and the turquoise coast is as beautiful as any place in the Mediterranean. Very similar to Greece except with better food. :D

Greece is nice too. I especially liked Santorini and Crete. Crete is pretty big so you can spend a week there. Really cool beaches.

My relatives from the Netherlands went fairly recently, they said it wasn't the best vibe... People were very careful about what they can say. It might be a little different than when you were there last. I still would love to go. So much history and like you said great food and coast. I really want to go to this place:

Interesting. I know censorship is a big issue there and I wonder if that's more prevalent in the bigger cities. I know Turkey was a huge ally of the US because of its vital location and borders with some of our arch enemies. That relationship has been strained over the years. Erdogan has a cordial relationship with Putin as does some other people we know. ;)

Birds of a feather...

So these UFO's only seem to crash near gov't installations? Lol. I need empirical proof and not some doctored up photos or some BS.
