Happy bday Nips
The knee is obviously worrisome, but it's a risk I'd take at this stage. Doubt he gets to us though.
Going to depend on what the life expectancy of that knee is. Can we get 5-6 productive years? Sounds pretty bad though. Maybe Jaylon as a fall back?
Get them both and call them: Two 5ths!
I heard it's bone on bone... just forget that pipe dream... guy is done.
If the knee injury was bad enough that this blue chipper dropped completely out of the 1st round, and reports are out there about cartilage separating from bone, & the player is talking about microfracture surgery...
I'm sorry, but I wouldn't pull the trigger until round 3.
Based on the way he's falling I think the knee surgery is imminent.
Any team that takes him would have to accept that they're not going to get much out of him this year and maybe next IMO.
Or maybe even ever.
It's shame because he's uber-talented and seems like a good kid. Maybe Cleveland or another team with a boatload of picks will take a flier on him.
Yeah, you got to feel for him.

UCLA LB Myles Jack will not attend tonight's draft, will watch in at a Chicago hotel instead, per source.
Slipping to the 3rd round?
Smart move. Can't be fun having TV cameras pan over to you every time another team passes on you. Would suck having to put up with that for another 5 hours.
Radio saying that he gets $60,000 insurance money for each spot he's not picked after #45
His agent should be fired.
It sounds like he had the impression we were taking him.
If so, I hope that was the agent and not us. It's pretty fucked up to mess with a kid like that.
Jack still thinks he's been snubbed.
Two players, Jack and Smith who would have been top ten. And both lost to injuries playing college football, losing millions at the same time. I wonder how top prospects regard their final years now. Just another reminder.
Is @Rupert gonna be right after all? Jags may have gotten a steal from the possible overreaction to Jack's knee.
This team is in essence going to have 3 rookie top 10 picks starting on opening day. Ramsey, Jack, Fowler. It may not be this year but look out for them after that.
