Joker > Scarface
It’s a short trailer. But this looks more than promising. Please don’t fuck up Batman.....
Looks good. Only concern is them overloading the villains.
Watched the Tax Collector.
It's one of those movies I'd have never watched without having someone recommend it to me.
After watching it I can confirm my initial impressions. Terrible.
Million Dollar Baby came up in conversation recently. I'm still angry.
It looked good. Was looking forward to seeing it. Have heard nothing but bad reviews lol. I’ll skip it.
How much better will it actually be? Curious enough to give it one watch when it comes out.
They're making it seem like it's almost a completely different movie. Theoretically it could given the number of re-shoots and cut footage. It has my interest.
Chadwick Boseman dead at 43 from colon cancer. God damn... dude was hitting his stride too.
Shitting me? Fucking wow.
Apparently it was a known thing... battled it for 4 years and made 6 movies. RIP dude. I mean you feel bad for anyone but that guy kicked some doors down with Black Panther. I figured he’d be the one to lead Marvel through the next phase.
I was of the impression that Marvel figured the same.
Well...damn. That ain't worth shit.
2020 just keeps on 2020ing.
This actually looks pretty freaking good and I'm not a big fan of most of the DC movies so far (Wonder Woman was good for most of the film and then blew its load). From what I've been reading, this is supposed to be in Batman's second year of existence, and the huge rogue's gallery is basically setting up future films and Bat-universe. This looks like it's going to focus on the Riddler, with intros to the Penguin and a few others. It's very dark and gritty and full of corruption. Bats doesn't seem to have his comic book plot armor built in and they aren't making him a god (Who the fuck believes that he is a master of every martial art, genius intellect, photographic memory, can bench press 1000 pounds, heals basically overnight and can defeat any superhero or villain if he has enough time to plan?). Watched a scene breakdown of the trailer and it looks like it will introduce a couple of the mob bosses, Gordon is just a cop and not the commisioner and there is a lot of police corruption as well.
If the rest of the film can hold up to what they've built in the trailer, they'll have a hit on their hands, much like Joker.
