Miami Dolphins Week

Detroit has the worst secondary... but DJ Hayden is supposedly playing like a stud for them... yet he doesn't start.

Hmmmm...
I wouldn't call him anything more than doing ok. I may have said "good" along the way but... He's certainly doing better in Detroit than he was here.

Carr had all day, pass pro was awesome. He should have been able to light them up... the throw into the ground with no one around him was some pussy shit... but he pretty much redeemed himself after that.
Can't wait to see ALL 22 on that one.

24 points by worst offense in the league. Can only imagine what Pats will do

8. Trade analysis II: Entering Sunday, the Miami Dolphins had averaged the fewest yards and points this season with Ajayi's services. They shouldn't miss him that much.

Smith played ok last night. He's still mostly terrible, but match him up against the bigger guys and he might be ok. Nelson, on the other hand, is just abysmal. He can't cover, can't tackle, and the one thing did last year that was ok- get interceptions- he can't do either. I see no reason why Luani isn't out there

Ted Nguyen @RaidersAnalysis 2h
This doesn’t mean you could put him in bump and run against Brandon Cooks, KNJ. Keep playing cover 2 lol
Scott Bair @BairNBCS
Sean Smith has been involved in 71 pass dropbacks over last 3 games. He allowed 3 catches for 12 yards on 4 targets in that span, per @pff.

#bigwin

We won a slap fight between a pair of useless teams.

To me, Lynch does not seem to be an upgrade over Tay Tay. Murray was also pretty helpful staying in to block and
was okay catching passes out of the backfield - neither of which this long haired idiot seems to excel at.

Lynch isn't that bad. You either feed him or you keep him out. It's amazing to me how little we've given him back to back carries. It's even crazier to me how many times he's been used between the 20's and then failed to be used inside the 20.

One biggest mistakes Downing has made IMO was switching to outside zone. I know Lynch had tons of experience playing with it in Seattle, but our O-line, and RB's were not.

So if your going to implement a blocking scheme, for a certain RB. You damn well should be running that RB early and often. Actually establish a running game, instead of seeing Lynch gain 3-4 yards then go pass/pass. Show some damn commitment to the run.

Just looking at our game drives, it's frustrating seeing how little we go back to back run plays.

Lynch seems to be fine in pass blocking, but he's definitely not a receiver. I'd rather rest him until the mid 3rd quarter before we see him. Let Washington start, with Richard spelling him.

#Raiders RB Marshawn Lynch totaled 57 yards against MIA in Week 9... He recorded 60 yards after contact.

He's still #good.

Ehh... I'll say he's ok

#Raiders RB Marshawn Lynch's 22-yard TD run on the trap play was the first time he's carried the ball within a trap concept this season.

What pissed me off about that is if he rolls his left he easily has another 4 to 5 seconds to throw and could've got a positive run out of that. That's what made Gannon so good. Carr's abilities to manipulate the pocket sucks ass.

Three things watching live I liked:

-- Holten stacked for free release and hit deep. At his size he's stupid fast, and that pass showed Carr can throw a ball up for Holten to beat the single coverage to.

-- Olufonwu got low in the backpedal I saw and broke on the receiver well, tackled like expected using his long arms and good technique. All-22 will allow me to key on him, expecting some pleasant surprises.

-- Stuck with the run. Didn't matter how it went early. Paid off late, our O-line leaning on that D. Combo blocks executed better against a disciplined D. And kept an obvious correction to the way the run got bottled up to hit in two weeks.

Three things I didn't like so much live:

-- Carr throwing short without looking when he had time. That third down throw short to Roberts had an obvious look to Cook down the seam, not to mention rest of pattern.

-- Too many times pass rush discipline suffered and allowed Cutler to slide out of pressure.

-- Drops by everyone. Carr zinged a ball that Crabtree let hit off his pads -- he needs to throw like that more in practice if he's going to go all Brett Favre needs some work.

-- Shallow crosses, drags and pick routes routinely worked against the D. That being the basis of the Patsie passing game, not heartening.

Skill or Will

Smith strikes me as yet another guy that could be doing better but is mis-used. We have had him on small fast WRs with no help way too often.

Lynch still breaks lots of tackles.

I just think our coaching staff is clueless on how to maximize this roster. Gotta blame the GM for that too.

Best game that we have seen out of the OL in quite a while. Did a nice job against a Phin DL that has some playmakers and has been pretty good. And much better for the OL in their run blocking in the 2H of the game - 2 rushing TDs and broke a few nice gainers.
Still too many runs to nowhere . . . except an OL's ass.
