My son was a big Godzilla fan as I was as a kid. I used to go to Tokyo a lot and there was a toy store that had all the real Godzilla toys, I got him all of them. Mothra, Hydra, etc. He still has them. Used to bring him home a different one every trip I could make it there.

Kind of sad that all there are anymore is reboots of everything no new ideas.

But I used to love watching the originals as a kid.Those Japanese movies dubbed in English.I actually came across a channel the other day playing a bunch of the old movies.I didn't really know Just how cheesy they really were.That old "technology".Good grief.I think these were subtitled though.

I burned out on it pretty quick overall. This Norcos shit though, I’m gonna be bumned when I’m done with it. At least more Mexico is coming.
 
Saw both Aquaman and Bumblebee this week.

Aquaman was ok. Not terrible but they tried to cram way too much into it. Bumblebee I liked a lot more. Travis Knight did a much better job capturing the spirit of the original cartoon than Bay ever did. They had a Cybertron sequence which I’ve been waiting for since the franchise began. Only thing I really didn’t like is that they didn’t use cannon decepticons. Yeah, I’m a transformers nerd lol.
 
There's an interesting doc on Netflix on Roger Stone. Pretty interesting (and ugly) what he did to American politics.
 
Watching the Humboldt County documentary on Netflix. Man some rough characters up there. But the paradox is it’s so beautiful up there

The trailers made it look like Soundwave actually looked like Soundwave. I hope they made the original noise when they transformed.

got through first 1.5 episodes of True Detective last night, I think it’s going to be great.
