Statistically thats somewhere between 7-9 & 9-7. Mark is paying a guy that defines mediocre a perennial playoff bound HC salary. Mark can afford to buy a money pit WNBA team but he can't afford to extend and all pro DE. As long as the embodiment of a goofball and a doofus owns this team we are in for a long shity ride.

Gruden and Mayock have really done a pretty abysmal job in building this roster especially with all the draft capital and FA $$ they have squandered. The defense is still a hot mess and still have issues on the OL.
Offensively they have done well IMO. Especially if Ruggs/Edwards develop. WR is the only spot we haven’t quite figured out but Nelson was a nice get and played well. Ruggs did have some moments. Just looked raw as a route runner. But the big play ability is there. Defense. I mean almost every pick or FA get has been a disappointment. Mullen is ok as a 2nd rounder. Crosby is fine as a 4th rounder. Hankins was an ok grab. Kwiatkowski. And that’s it. Abram. Arnette. Ferrell. Hall. Key. Littleton. Joyner. Burifict. Collins. Remember all the guys we signed in year one on defense? Bleh.
Regarding the poll... I don't think Carr even matters in the equation. I'm not sure these guys could do with with Pat Mahomes.

Derek is the perfect QB for a team that that sets the bar at making the playoffs. You can get enough talent around him to get there if the ball bounces just right and some calls go your way. Winning it all or becoming a perennial contender, never happen.
