I would also like to win.
I agree that it is marketing and a promotion. It is also a lie...which is fine but don't try to sell that lie to someone who knows the truth.
It’s not a lie. Lol. It’s puffery being purposefully misinterpreted. Motion denied.
Green Bay kicked Lambeau out of the organization. The man founded the team. One of the things that drew me to the Raiders (outside of Carr and my father's fanhood) is that the team cultivates its alumni relationships. I respect that.
Carr drew you to the Raiders?
Players, as a whole, were never loyal in NFL history. The AFL survived because of that principle. They waved the money wand and stole veterans and draft picks. The CFL would regularly pick off players in the 1950s. Hell, the league was founded in 1920 to combat the team jumping that left the Ohio League disorganized and penniless.
He was one of the reasons. Started following him in college. Didn't have a NFL team at the time. It worked out. My dad grew up a Raiders fan (loved Stabler and Casper) but he stopped following hardcore in the early 1990s. Plus, I love lost causes. I am a Pirates fan for a reason.
Carr drew me away from the Raiders.
To each his own lol.
I was your replacement. LOL
To balance it out. A soul for a soul.
You are the anti-logic to my logic.
Doesn't make a damn bit of sense, does it?
Dude, you missed the obvious line.
I am the O'Brien to your Winston Smith.
Well, neither do the Raiders.
Well, you were right but the early reports about James’ new contract were wrong. It is a 3 year contract, starting this year at $2.5M, with $8.65M in new money but only $4M guaranteed. James will get $6M over 2 years if not cut, but not $11M in 3. James would only get $3.5M in 2023. So, basically, we agreed to a 1st round tender and advanced over $1.6M this year for an option to pay James $3.5M in 2023. James’ 3-year contract ranks #21 among centers (including #21 in terms of ‘21 cap hit, #18 in terms of new money, and #17 in terms of cash spent if we cut him after 1 year). The “upside” would last only 1 year provided James ranked #17 or better in terms of performance.
If you just started watching football in 2016 lol.
At least he was mostly fun to watch again in 2020. I didn’t think he had it in him to go deep that often.
He better keep that shit up too, because the stadiums are gonna have booing fans this year boys lol!
More than Mayock? Lol. Vic needs his own thread.
“I think I said this in the podcast. If Gruden’s seat ever gets warm, he just chucks it out the window and gets another one. There are a couple of scapegoats already lined up for next season if the Raiders don’t improve on 8-8,” Tafur wrote this week in The Athletic.
He ain’t lying.
