I don’t think they like Ball. Maybe I’m wrong. I think he’s either traded or simply not re signed after this year.

They probably roll with Bledsoe as the starter and bring the rookie along slowly. Never seen the kid play but he seems like a good prospect, especially that late. Guess he’s a burner who can shoot. Somehow only 19 and has two years of college under his belt. Not bad.

They have a few decent trade assets now player wise, and a shit ton of picks.

If Zion is legit, and Ingram keeps getting better, that could be a nice destination that players flock to soon.

    Question.

With Klay out again. And Draymond not getting any younger.

Do you listen to trade offers for him and Steph? Blow it up?

Was thinking about that earlier. Damn shame. I was hoping he’d be back so they could smash the Lakers. I hate that team so fuckin’ much.

Oubre deal is for a 2021 first if it lands 21-30 or two second round picks if 1-20. I’ll take it.

Wonder how we’re going to revamp the offense with only one proven shooter though.

I wouldn’t and from the looks of things Lacob isn’t either. I saw somewhere that bringing in Ubre is going to cost like $84m after you factor the lux taxes. You gotta be serious about competing to spend that type of coin on any player let alone that player.

As a fan I’m never trading any of the core 3 unless they request it or it’s like a retirement thing ala Livingston. I’m fine spending the next few years letting Steph rack up stats and boost his personal legacy.

Sounds like we’re looking to use the DPE and MLE. Not sure what type of team we’ll be able to Frankenstein together but props to the owners for spending the money.

    Team has some height now...

    Steph 6’3
    Wiggins 6’8
    Oubre 6’7
    Dray 6’7 :chuckle:
    Wiseman 7’1

We called Wiseman and Oubre in January.

Oubre doesn't really fit the Warriors style of offense. He has blinders on with he ball too much. Never looking to move it or pass first. But with that said he has a ton of skills. He gets the ball and basically drives towards the lane looking to destroy someone. He dunks like he is angry at the rim. Going to be a fan favorite quick. He also plays defense and is 24 years old. He basically has a nasty streak burst where he can attack the rim, block a shot or dive at a steal. He is a decent shooter and get to the line about 4 times a game the last few seasons. He also brings size. There was a reason we kept bringing up his name. He can probably move around w Wiggins at 6 '7.

Nickname , Tsunami Papi... pretty lame but the ladies love him apparently haha. I remember him being kind of a diva in DC. Didn't seem like he wanted to be there or got along etc? Seems to have matured w the Suns but his non passing ways probably didn't jive w Booker who also wants the ball whenever he's in the game.

This was the obvious smart move and they made it. Even if it doesn't work out it makes sense today w the Klay news.

LMFAO at the wishful thinking "Warriors window is done people" - flat out stupid take. I fully understand that Curry is 33, Klay is fucked and may never get back right, and Dray is 30 and looked washed last year. Wiggins overpaid, Looney injured etc etc Plenty of truth there. But:

    Wiggins 25
    Oubre 24
    Wiseman 19
    Paschall 24

    Wolves 1st pick in 2021
Warriors 1st pick in 2021 (if its under 20)

Some other wild cards like Poole, Smiley, Mannion and Jessup (at least some youth/potential)

They still have a 9 million dollar contact for Klays insurance. And a 6 million. People are fully sleeping on 2 time MVP Curry still having juice. I know he's not LeBron but we just watched him almost win the MVP and the finals again at 36.. he doesn't even shoot great. We have two shooters who will age at least decently until 35. They wont ever shoot under 35% I bet. So while those contracts may stink, they will never not play big minutes in the NBA. Curry, Green, Klay are HOF talents and people must have forgot Currys s 2 time MVP and about to shoot like Harden next year.

I understand that I am bias and being glass half full (drunk currently lol) but im laughing at the slander. The Klay injury blows, but all is not lost by any means. You think KD fans are this bummed waiting for him to come back. They were also doom and gloom at first, now they are hyped and he apparently looked healed and he is a 7 footer who dribbles. Not a catch and shoot guy at 6'7 who has a quick release.

FTW - Chef will cook. Better chance I pull this post later to brag haha

Oubre is the guy I wanted. Agree with @BigTron that he is not the best fit for this offense but he averaged nearly 19ppg last year and can defend. Plus he is still very young and seems to be improving every season.

Props to Lacob and Meyers. They will have the highest luxury tax ever in NBA history next season.

If Wiseman is legit, Steph and Dray are healthy, they will still be a playoff team.

Losing Klay still sucks but Wiggins can score so they will be fine there.

The collective IQ of this team should be pretty low... shooting will also be a problem with Steph being the only reliable shooter on the roster right now. Hopefully Poole can be more consistent and/or Mannion can prove reliable early. This will be a team with a lot of highs and lows but they'll run teams out of the gym on a good day. Hopefully we can get a couple vets to bring some stability and experience to help Dray out. Cracked up at Bob Meyers warning the rooks about Draymond yelling at them in the press conference.

I hear Dubs still interested in Avery Bradley if he doesn't get a long term deal to stay with Lakers. Not sure how many more players we can realistically bring in with our luxury tax situation.

Bob made it clear they'll spend to give the fans a team to root for.

Bradley is a nice player *when healthy. Lots of people think we'll go after D.Rose since he fits into the DPE parameters and Meyers randomly name dropped him yesterday. We need shooters though in the absolute worst way. PJ Tucker may be another target.

Sky Bowman just got waived. Decent 3rd string PG. I think the writing is on the wall the Warriors want a veteran PG. Also Mannion now owns one of the spots behind Steph moving forward. Likely 2021/2022 debut w Jessup if things go fine. Not saying they will, but that's the plan for those guys I think.

Poole will play 3rd PG I think & Mulder might stick as a 3 point specialist (he's 6'6 so he can work at SG now)

    PG - Curry. , ____ , Poole
SG - Oubre , Lee, Mulder
    SF - Wiggins, JTA
    PF - Draymond, Paschall
C - Looney, Chriss, Wiseman, Smiley

We have the 6 million contract and the 9 million contract. I could see us adding Kris Dunn or another veteran PG like MCW, A.Rivers, Teague with one of those contracts. The other contract will be used for a scorer. Bradley, Burks, GR3 etc So I think will add two more vets before it said and done. We have one more spot left now and could easily move on from Lee, Mulder, JTA or Smiley if they needed to.

The guard and wing depth isn't ready yet. I expect more moves. We also could use a big who can knock down 3's at a decent clip.

    * I forgot to mention that Looney can def play PF. He also has a nice shooting touch and has been working on his 3 point shot for the last couple years. MAYBE he shows something as a stretch. We saw him guard Harden in the playoff so he can switch well enough.

I don't see any point keeping Smiley honestly. I know the Dubs are high on him but he doesn't look like he's an NBA player.

Supposedly mutual interest with Avery Bradley. Anti viagra there considering what we need.

I'll take Reggie Jackson instead tbh.

Bradley to Heat, Dunn to Hawks. Looks like guys in our need and price range are choosing better chances of winning lol.

Def some swings and misses so far. Not the end of the world tho. I bet Jeremy Lin ends up the back up PG.

Also a few names who are good bench players left: Galloway, GR3, Forbes, Teague, R.Jackson, J.Carter, E.Moore, Napier, Len, Rivers, G.Temple, MELO! , Bazemore etc Not to mention we could move some second rounders and take on some salary from some one. Lots of options moving forward.

I wanted Dunn for his defense. Bradley because he is a savvy veteran. But there are still lots of bodies out there who could push this team up another notch with solid shooting etc
