Indeed. I mean, with all the fuss people make about the blood of the lamb, you'd think it would be at least a serviceable lubricant.

It may be up to 77 million now. Same factory might have fucked up 62 million more doses. Oh boy.

So they outsourced making vaccines to one of the worst companies ever apparently.

Got the Johnson & Johnson shot yesterday. It's been more than 24 hours now, and I've noticed no side effects at all. Not even a sore injection site. Hey, maybe I'm just awesome, right?

Well, my half-a-cripple father got the same shot yesterday, and he doesn't feel anything either. No soreness. No nothing.

I have no idea if the stuff in these shots came from the same manufacturer that fucked up millions of doses of vaccine, or if their fuckup would change the way someone's body would respond to the injection. I have no idea if any questionable doses from that manufacturer made it into circulation before the clamps got put on that situation.

I also don't know if people getting the J&J shot are less likely to feel side effects than someone getting a different company's vaccine, so my eyebrow may be raised for no reason. But, any time things go better or are easier than expected, it makes me wonder.

In any event, I've got a card that says I've been vaccinated. I assume I have been. Now, bring on those mutant strains and let's see whether or not this was all for naught.

Just anecdotal but I've talked to dozens of people that have gotten the vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna) and it's probably 60% don't get side effects and 40% get it relatively rough. It really just depends on the person and who the hell knows specifically what causes it? My 40-year old co-worker got the same shot I did an hour before I did and had to go home the next afternoon from work... had a 100+ temp, throbbing headache, and body aches that didn't subside for close to 72 hours. They warned me that since I had Covid I'd probably have some side effects and I didn't notice anything other than a slight ache in my arm where they stuck me. Immune systems are goofy.

True. And it stands to reason that most everyone that talks about how they felt after getting the shot had something to talk about, wildly skewing public perception. I guess I'm just naturally suspicious of any stick I didn't grab the shitty end of. :pound:

Dumbasses mixed two different vaccines together, J &J and the AstraZaneca.

My mother and sisters got Phizer and said they have no side effects. I haven't talked to my brother yet which one he took, but he hadn't said anything about having problems after his first shot.

I have talked to no one personally who has had any side effects from any of these things, so it's probably like the bad reviews skewing opinions because the people who had a shitty time loving to tell everybody about it.

most people I know have felt sick or like they are about to for a day. Some have had a fever. All of which is normal and expected.

Had the second Pfizer shot yesterday and no issues (at least so far, knock on wood [if you are with me]). I checked with my brother, mom, and nieces who all received their second dose last week before I went in yesterday and all said they had nothing except for a slightly sore arm for a day.

They say if you have no reaction, you're one of the people who would have been asymptomatic. Stronger reaction means you probably would have gotten fucked up or ended up in the hospital or worse.

I know a few people that were giddy to get the vaccine and felt shitty for 2-3 days. Just happens, they warned me it could happen when I got it. At least here I don't see anyone wanting to give it a bad review but just happened to get some rougher side effects that cleared up in 48-72 hours.

Don't think that's an exact science as I had Covid with mild (but obviously noticeable) and didn't have any side effects to the vaccine.
