Any of you guys had COVID-19? I’ve been terribly sick with a high fever (101+ degrees) and difficultly breathing for about 96 hours now. Got tested for COVID-19 on Monday, but still waiting on my test results. My primary care physician has me as a presumptive positive, but we’ll see how it works out. Been quarantined in my back bedroom for several days now, but guessing whatever it is that I have, I’ve already passed to my wife and kids. I’ve certainly erred on the side of caution, but with kids in public schools (in-person learning) who the hell knows. Too many possible vectors. Blackreign community has really helped with my sanity since COVID-19 hit hard back in March. Appreciate you guys! Stay safe and healthy.

I give you 48 hours to live, sounds like Super COVID. This is based off of my knowledge as a professional architect. God Speed.

In all seriousness you should be fine and hope you feel better soon.

Hey man...so sorry to hear that! My wife and I got it (both tested positive) back in the first week of July. She had flu-like symptoms for a day and a a half (fever, body ache) and mine (more severe) lasted 3 days. However, the worst part, for us at least, was that we both lost our senses of taste and smell. Our sense of taste came back within a week or so but our sense of smell still hasn't come back to 100%.

I hope you feel better soon!!

Ask your dr for some oral steroids or albuterol which will help keep your lungs clean. Maybe even some light blood thinners. It so sad in this country we wait until people get really sick from this virus before we try treating it

Got a couple of garage queens and a sweet Bourbon Burst Gibson Les Paul. I think I remember you being a car guy, so I’ll pencil you in for a vehicle. Sorry, no American muscle at the moment, just German cars.

Thanks brother. I think I’ll be fine. I can tell my immune system is fighting. Ironically, I think I’ll feel a little relieved if it is COVID. I’ve been living in a bubble for better part of seven months now. I’ve recently started thinking that I simply couldn’t continue on doing what I’ve been doing. Life is short. Gotta live it to the fullest.

Glad you’ve mostly recovered Vinny. No loss of taste, but not sure about my sense of smell. I was ripping some big farts last night and couldn’t smell a thing! Appreciate the well wishes though. And good to hear that others have come out of this illness mostly intact.

If I’m being honest, living in a rural town and running an “essential business” has meant that it hasn’t really affected me that much. And by “that much,” I kind of mean “at all.” I’ve still taken a vacation, I’ve still had some weekend getaways, I still went sky diving for the first time, I still rode motorcycles, I’ve still gotten together with family and had fun. I think my girlfriend and I were initially worried about but both decided early on that we weren’t going to quit living life and want, as best we can, to live in happiness rather than fear. It seems to have been (for us, where we are) the right call. At least I hope so.

    Get well soon brother Tide.

Pretty much everyone is worn out with this shit. I think to myself, “how is this thing actually going to end”?

Hope all goes well for you, man. A guy I did some radio work with got it bad and ended up passing away a few weeks ago. Cool dude that did the PA for football games while I did them on the radio. He was 71 and in pretty decent shape for his age but apparently his body couldn't handle it. Obviously most people are going to be okay from it but hope all stays well for you, bud.

And you know there in lies some of the trouble with this shit. I’m really more concerned about passing it to other people than my own health/safety. Hopefully I just picked up something else and it will run it’s course. Very sorry to hear about your colleague. I’m no medical expert, but from what I understand, there are different strains or variants of COVID-19. Some seem to be worse than others. Then you add in each individual’s own genetics or underlying health conditions, and things can be very different for two people (even of the same age). Appreciate the well wishes.

You called him Brother Tide and now I've got this in my head. ar-306119837.jpg
@Black Tide you got this bro. I think I had it in March but couldn't get a test because at that time I didn't fit the description. No international travel.

LOL. Aside from the Amish style beard/hair style, and the more general “I’ve been using too much meth” appearance, it isn’t too far off.

So this implies that you have a general “I’ve been using just enough meth” appearance?

I don't get it. What does Andrew Luck have to do with BlackTide or Bones?
