Cookin' it up with the Nips- ILB

Have to tip your hat to the Cubans. Still driving cars made in the 50's and still able to fabricate spare parts. Amazing.

Its freaking crazy dude.

A lot of '57 chevs and nice rides there if you are in to vintage cars, I took a ton of cool pics of some really nice vehicles.

It is a trippy time-warp though, LOL.

So are we capitalist pigs able to go to Cuba yet? I'm going if so.

Make sure you go before NIPS. One weekend in Havana with him on the loose would cause them to freeze diplomatic relations for the duration.

Haha no, Cuba is pretty strict. They fuckin swab you up and check all your shit.

I got 20+ cigars and 4 bottles of Havana Special though.

Is it a place Americans can go at all? Its freaking awesome there. Big tourist attraction for Canadians.

Cayo Coco is the place we stayed. Its literally just tourist resorts. No locals there. Cuba's second biggest income is in tourism from Canada and the European Union. I'm assuming we go there so much because there are no asshole Americans, LOL.
Why don't you move there if it's so good?

5. Kansas ILB Ben Heeney 6.68 (3cone) – A slightly undersized thumper with a big motor, the 6-foot, 231-pounder did well enough in Indy when it came to speed drills (like the 3-cone, shuttle and 40-yard dash) in his positional grouping to garner some post-combine buzz. He led the Big 12 in solo tackles as a senior with 88, and had 35 tackles for a loss in his three-plus years as a regular. While there are reported drawbacks to his game (namely in coverage), the size/speed combo can’t be overlooked. The Patriots aren’t necessarily in the market for a linebacker in the early going, but could certainly be interested if he lasts until the last day.

Any thoughts on this one?

Crazy write-up on Dawson. His college production was off the charts. No other LB was close. But he comes with major red flags and will likely be a 2-down LB. First, he did not play MIKE for TCU but WILL and thus was not asked to stack and shed blocks. Second, he was very aggressive, always stepping forward and shooting gaps. NFL OC and QB will eat that shit up. Third, he has a questionable work ethic. Fourth, he's a below average NFL athletes, as his combine numbers showed. Mayock's smoking something on this prospect.

Actually in that 52 defense, the LB slides to the strongside of the formation... The extra safety is essentially the weakside backer...
If we are moving to Seattle's 4-3 scheme, we need another WILL, so perhaps he'd fit. It just seemed like an odd thing to read about Mayock's top projected ILB, that he doesn't have a lot of tape on stacking/shedding blocks. Seems like a key attribute for a SAM.

Shaq Thompson may not be a great fit as a LB, but he'd be a pretty nice option to play the rover/Kam Chancellor role.

Dude is a baller.
