Oops! Someone merge please.
Michigan is going to be overrated as hell after their first 7 games, so they can go to the playoff this year by just beating Michigan State and Ohio State. But that being said, even if I have to sacrifice a championship for FSU to them so that Jim quits Michigan after next year and comes back to Oakland, let it be. I figure we'll give JDR 1 more year either way it goes, and then we can get him to helm our triumphant team moving to Las Vegas, lol.
RO's Master Plan revealed.
Michigan deserves the ranking they have now. I agree they usually are over rated. They might actually be under rated at #7 right now....STACKED on D. Best WR/TE group in the nation. Good OL. RB depth. This true freshman RB, #12, looks like a star. QB looks better than Rudock at the beginning of last season. Rasean Gary, #3, watch this dude....future top 3 draft pick. It's disgusting how well he moves for a 300 pounder. I can't think of a player I've seen at that size that can move like that. As for your team, I can't wait to see The RB play. That dude is fucking FAST. Gimme some of that in next years draft.
I'm saying overrated in the sense that we won't know anything about how good they are from their first 7 games. The opponents are terrible and most of the games are at home.
They play OSU and MSU on the road, not likely to win both.
This is the best and most talented U of M team that they have had since Chad Henne was there. And honestly on defense they have not been this good since 1997-1998 when Woodson was there. They are legit. The team, I know right now is good due to what I saw last year and they are essentially all back. Wilson Speight is the wild card. So far he looks very solid. He's gonna have like you said, 7 weeks to get in top form. He's got great size and arm talent. He should be fine.
MSU is gonna get their asses handed to them in that game. OSU will be tough. They have Barret and are as talented over all. Depends on how well OSU's defense jells by then.
Yeah, I like their team. Talking more about that they don't play anybody for 2 months. It's the Ohio State plan because they do this most years too.
Side note, Oklahoma getting their asses handed to them by Houston. Might finally be the end of the road for Stoops.
Guess Houston's on the Big 12 radar even more. #MissedOpportunity
Guessing UCLA v. Texas A&M will be good.
None of the good matchups started yet unless you count Okie/Hou.
Yeah. Oklahoma has really fallen off the last few years. Houston was pretty good last year. I think OSU's former OC is now their HC. No doubt Michigans early schedule is cupcake as fuck. I agree. It wasn't last year. Not sure why it is so much weaker this year. It won't matter. There are only four legit threats in the Big10 this year. Have to see what happens when they all play each other. Wisconsin looking at a down year. I think MSU has a sub par season as well. Iowa should be good. UM and OSU are just stacked. UM needs a QB to step up ( Speight and Okorn looked solid today). And OSU is replacing a lot along the defense. But they have been getting top 10 classes for a while. Should be fine.
Gonna come down to Michigan vs. Ohio State imo. Whoever wins between them will be the loss on either's record, and the team left standing makes it to the playoff.
Yeah me too. How do you think FSU and Clemson will finish? How do you see FSU compared to a couple of years ago?
