So exactly the opposite of what Carr does well?

# DowningHC2018

JDR isn't going to handcuff Carr but there's a time and place for everything. We saw the Falcons basically give away the SB by not running for it late in the game when a FG would have won it.

You're talking about in game strategy though.

Obviously it makes sense to pump the brakes when the situation dictates but from an offensive philosophy standpoint, Carr is more effective in an uptempo rhythm passing attack.

Agree especially when they mix in the run game, he's even more effective.

I want a bully in the backfield. Loved the near certain feeling we would pick up short yardage when we had Pete Banazak and Zack Crockett. Murray was always iffy, even though he performed well in the redzone.

My biggest want on O is a WR who can take the top off the D. Stretch the field and make teams pay if they roll coverage to Cooper or stack the box.

I won't complain one iota if we draft a perceived stud receiving TE. A TE that can stretch the field might also kill two birds with one stone. But I am willing to live with Smith and Walford another year.

A Zack Crockett is actually exactly what we need.

Well Olawale can be that short yardage guy if we only use him more. Always seems to have the knack for making the big play and he's deceptively fast for a big dude.

There's better and cheaper options to be had than Murray. I wonder if DJax would consider Oakland again?

I think you're splitting hairs here. Penn allowed his only sack of the game and Carr held onto the ball too long. As far as running the ball, I agree. Should have also ran the ball on the 3rd and 1 in the 4th Q in KC. Probably why Musgrave is no longer here. JDR wants a power running, clock controlling game.
No, fuck Sawft Walford.

You and Davis thinking alike.

Oh my. Not good.

Thinking alike, spoofing, same shit. I thought you old guys invented spoofing?

Fucking soft ass Walford. I hated this damn pick from the start. Now I'm triggered. Seeing his name is literally violence for me.
