Man. I know QB is the foundation. But I don't want to bring anyone in here with this team devoid of talent.

Almost would rather go big on playmakers and defense in 2020, play Peterman in 2020 and suck for Lawrence.

Can't wait any longer. We've been kicking this can for years...

You either have a QB you can win with and build around or you dont.

True. Can I say I want to kick the can because I don't like Herbert at all?

He's got time to improve. I'm not a fan either.

I love Tua though. Eason intrigues me. Montez from Colorado is a lotto ticket.

Nate Stanley from Iowa deserves to be scouted a bit. I've never watched Jordan Love play but he's pretty well regarded in the draftnik world.

I'm open to anything that improves us.

After seeing Miami today, I didn’t recognize more than half of their players by name that were on the field. The effort was comical.

There is no way we have a shot at Tua, he’s destined to be a Dolphin (could he pull an Elway/Manning tho? Miami is a train wreck)

Eason had a ROUGH week 2, but I agree 100% with @007 , he’s intriguing. Wow arm talent.

Herbert played better in week 2.

Montez has played well against some good defenses in non conference play, I think he fucked his knee up last year or the year before (think it was against UM, and they were winning when it happened) and has kinda been under since. He’s def one to watch because his WR Shenault, is now a very real possibility with our top pick.

The Georgia kid, was good enough to cause Eason and Fields (OSU’s new Michigan killer) to transfer. Can’t ignore that.

If we have the chance to take Tua we shoud but we won’t. I think Herbert is fools gold.

Tua Tagovailoa has had 72% of his yards come after the catch, highest percentage in the nation

Against South Carolina, 82% of his yards came after the catch

This is kinda what has me second guessing a little bit. At the same time ball placement can make or break YAC so it can’t be held completely against him.

The biggest knock I can see on Tua is how he handles pressure. Yes, he can scramble away more often than not, but once he starts getting hit... well he really doesn't react too well to that. Clemson really rattled his ass last year, and Georgia the year before. Doesn't mean he sucks, but I question if he'll stay in the pocket and take the big hit if need.

In 2019 being able to take a hit, more often than will lead to positive yards one way or another.

    His ball placement is elite.

But the 80 percent number will have me watching more closely. Did not know it was that high..

I watched some Joe Burrow and Jordan Love tonight.

    I keep telling you all....

Tua’s tough to scout. So many elite weapons.

Some guys just aren’t as high on him as you think.

    I didn’t know it was 80 percent!

Even if I love the guy you gotta plant a flag there and keep an eye on it.

I will try to remove my Carr bias from future Tua convos.

I disagree with you about his accuracy though. RAC takes two guys doing their job the thrower and catcher.
