How does Bert Blyleven is not there is beyond me? This is a no-brainer. The guy was a big-time pitcher in the postseason. This guy was the reason why the Twins have championships. This guy was the ace. This guy was a presence in which you know the Twins were going to win when he was out there in the mound. This guy carried the Twins. So what if he did not win 300 games? He was close, wasn't he. All he did was WIN. If he was pitching for the Yankees or Red Sox, he would be in the Hall easily because the media would be promoting Bert like there was no tommorow which would influence the voters. The fact he pitches in Minnesota or the fact that he was short of winning 300 games should not cost him a Hall of Fame vote IMO. The same with Jack Morris.

You nailed it TMG, Bert wasn't a Yankee or Red Sox pitcher. He pitched for the Twins and then the Angels. All he did was win. I don't care if he threw that super curve late in his career. Blyleven belongs in the hall.
