Guess our disconnect is in application. Just don’t see (nor do I see how you see) overdrafting Alt at the expense of filling a gapping whole with possibly the best WR prospect since Megatron as the answer to issues you raise, which no one is disputing.

I said earlier that I think he's going to trade down. I've always thought he was because he can get the lineman and more picks to fix that defense.

I'm arguing because you're doing your usual moving of the goal posts again and threw out an inaccuracy about Thomas along with your "well that's different" like you're a die hard Twitter user.

Your exact words were: "One of the most special receivers of the last 20 years was on a 0-16 team. I wish he would go that route at the expense of their shitty lines and defense. I just know he's smarter than doing that with such a high pick unfortunately."

Implying that you think he should draft OL or D instead of a WR citing a team that went 0-16 with a great WR. I countered with another team with a fairly comparable LT with the same result. Then you went on about this that and the other thing. Who cares when they went 0-16? If anything it's worse that a team with an established stalwart of that caliber went 0-16 (or 1-15) than early in the career. What difference does it make at all when the original thing was "I hope he drafts a WR instead of other stuff because they went 0-16 one year."

Your analogy was bad. You could just say you don't think WRs are as important - that's fine. Going WR over LT didn't really seem to hold the Bengals back, fwiw.

Why would I be rooting for the Chargers to get anything right. I said what I think most smart teams would do, which is pass on constructing the same team we're talking about the same way it's been while they were losing these past five years despite the expectations, and I think Harbaugh is a smart coach. You and others were here sucking the Chargers dick that they had Allen and Williams for years, and they are barely over .500 as a team with them starting with Herbert throwing to them on a rookie contract, and my observation was because their defense and offensive line sucked. I have no idea what all of that other superfluous bullshit you're talking about is.

So, the League did not want to hear and read about “Mahomes Rules” all summer with an opening Thursday Night rematch with AP’s Raiders. #Cowards

How often has a divisional game been the opening night contest?

As a kid - OJ to me was invincible. He was a local kid so I watched him at Buffalo whenever his game was on tv. When he joined the niners I really wanted to see him play in person. Hobbled legs and all. I finally did get to see him play at the Stick. I remember a run he had, which was one of his fav plays, off tackle - he scampered into the open field for about a 20 yard gain. I was up in the nose bleeds smiling because I knew he was a shell of himself but he showed a glimpse of his healthy past. I still remember it well.

After he left football I remember his lame sideline reporting, his hurdling over obstacles for the Hertz commercials. As great as he was before he was sliding into decline on the invincible perception with the cheesy-ness but he was always present in our daily lives. His star was never going to dim no matter how lame or "jump the shark" moments he would have... or so we thought.

Later on I was working swing shift at a steel service center in Sacramento. I went outside to listen to my friends car radio during his attempted Bronco escape. Nobody could believe what was happening. I was in an apartment in Pittsburg Ca w my sliding door open and heard a very loud collective sigh from all over the complex when the jury came back w/ not guilty. The shock of the decision was felt throughout and everyone knew an injustice had just happened.

It didn't have to end this way, OJ. You were invincible yet did the unthinkable. You have earned your fall from grace.
